Has any one ever encountered this? You get a response from your profile with something similar to this:

"Greetings...send more pictures slave and tell Mistress more about yerself..I am upstate NY"

(name of respondant withheld for privacy)

I'm just asking because this just strikes me as a VERY unusual way to introduce yourself to a prospective partner/sub/slave.. any idea how to handle this? aside from blocking? I mean. I *WOULD* like to find out more.. as thats the only way im going to figure out if shes what im looking for.. I just think it could have been toned down just a *tad*

My automatic response to a rude email like that one is "It's nice to have fantasies" and hit the [Send} key

Whoa! That was quite the intro email! I am right in line with John on this one, the delete key works well!

You do have a good profile, btw, but that email you got has so many of the hallmarks of the bad emails we dominants get, in reverse.

There are several threads on emails, so I won't launch into a rant here---you can use the search function to find TONS, by me and others.

Use manners as your guide---if the email is something that you would accept if someone said it to your face, then you have something to go after. :)

I get several of those a day. I'm automatically turned off by someone calling me their slave when I've never met them before. I think John's response is perfect. hehehe <caches that one for later> Or, if you are interested in learning about them, request that they send you more information first.

Some of my favorites close like this:

Respond quickly and with respect,
<insert sir or master here> name

Just because you call yourself "Sir" or "Master" does not mean that you are that to me. So don't expect me to bestow that upon you.

I get them all the time, had two emails from couples looking for sex slaves today, so if anyone's interested, I can send you over.

The polite responses are to ignore them or just reply with a "no thanks."

Anything else borders on losing your own good manners, but occasional random snarkiness is an ok withdrawal from the Karma account.

Oh thank you so much, but I would never do that, I am very strict about copyrights always.

I will just put "with the courtesy of JohnWarren" in small letters underneath...... will probably get them even more confused and unsound and scared, but wtf I like them to be that way anyway

There is nothing like the terror of thinking the person you are corresponding with knows the joke and you don't.

I get that from some people too. I really do try and be polite and thank them for the e-mail, but not interested. On my ohhhhhhh, lets say...not so polite days? i may reply: Ohhh really? how does it feel to want? <smirks>

You impress me.
Actually I consider getting people uneasy being one of the basic rules of manipulating them.

That's why I smile when someone wants to fight.... and the harder they push the wider I smile.

Well that's ONE way. Another way is to lull them into a sense of false security. Uneasy people tend to be less predictable in the long run. When people feel secure, it can be maintained and used with more grace.

I've always said one of the best types of intelligence is knowing when to act like you know more than you know, when to act like you know less than you know, and when to act which way.

One of my favorite 1st contact emails was:

"Are you in any pornos? Would you like to be?"

But my favorite strange 1-time 1-liner has to be:

"Do you poop big?"

I am a domme, 100%, always have been, probably always will be.

One recent evening I received an IM on Yahoo! out of the blue from some luh-hoo-se-herr, and it said...

"I see you are a dom but most likely you started as sub, I was wondering if I could use you as such, of course without your subs knowing about it."

As if.

(I can't remember the exact wording of the message, but this was pretty close to verbatim. My rendition seems more eloquent and intelligent-sounding, though, if you can believe it).

Even though I am a sub i got a first time that went like this

...Mistress, i long to kneel bhind you and worship your ass....

Now, being that i am a sub...isnt it *I* who should be doing the worshiping? I politily wrote him back stating that my ass wasnt in need of cleaning since i had just showered, but next time i was in need of a bath, i'd let him know..*shrugs* Guess that wasnt so polite...oh well!!
