You were given some excellent advice by Lady Lolly and others. I'd strongly advise you to listen to what was said and take your time to get to know this woman as a man before you enter into any kind of power exchange with her. She's neither your Domme or Mistress, until the two of you agree upon it and the terms under which that will occur. I suggest you attempt to "date" her as a man would a vanilla woman while you get to know here many non lifestyle likes and dislikes to establish a basic compatibility. If that isn't there, the last thing you'll want to ever do is move in with her and serve her 24/7!

subtreat-- just take your time and get to know people in person before even thinking about a 24/7 situation. I can feel the eagerness in your posts and your profile-- just don't be so eager that you expose yourself to someone that will hurt you-- mentally, physically or emotionally. That happens far too often.

Find out about your local BDSM community. See if there are munches that you can attend and get to know others in the area. Try a few things before you make a solid decision on your likes and dislikes. Explore your limits and boundries.

Don't throw your common sense, liberty, established life, or money out the window. (Not that you would.)

Don't be a mouse about the negotiations of what to do and what you like to do.

Spend time together. I would suggest taking a few months to feel each other out.

While in the "test run" phase, feel free to engage in the following activities: breaking bread in a coffee shop, catching a movie at the drive in, reading a common book and sharing opinions on it, engaging in intimate activities at her place and yours, etc... (you get the idea.)

At some point you won't feel like a confused outsider anymore, and she won't be wondering about what type of guy you are.

Have fun. Concentrate on what you have to offer.

Model yourself after the Giants (nothing to lose, have to go for broke.)
