Status: offline 		       Just sitting here listening to windows media player, and was just thinking. What do you consider to be the "Worst "song ever?
What do you consider to be the "Best "song ever?
 
The Best song ever I believe up untill this point is.
Casting Crowns, "The Voice of Thruth."
 
The Worst song ever I believe is called "Short People"
 
Alot of 1 hit wonders, but these up untill now make my top list.

It's been covered and released commercially over 150 times. No less an authority than Frank Sinatra called it "The greatest love song ever written"; although wrongly attributing it to Lennon & McCartney when it performed it.

Worst? Damn...there's trillions. Maybe the drunk biker anthem Freebird or whatever it's called by Lynard Skynard.

Best? Today it's Simple Kind Of Life by No Doubt. Tomorrow it will probably be something else. Maybe The Boxer or 21st Century Schizoid Man.

I like your taste- saw King Crimson live a couple of decades ago- but have to admit, my favorite of theirs is in the Court of the Crimson King.

Its hard to pick a favorite- at this minute, it's Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street- I have a weakness for a good sax.

In terms of worst stuff though- agree with the McCartney X-mas song- hate all those songs where they get everybody and his uncle on stage- I've heard high school choirs that sound far better.

I must be a weirdo though- I like Randy Newman's Short People and Thomas Dolby's She Blinded me with Science.  and MacArthur Park just should not be taken seriously.....

Status: offline 		My vote for worst song ever goes to "Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro.  "Seasons in the Sun" by Terry Jacks would get a close second.

I cant comment because there are so many good songs out there, pre black album metallica, ACDC, Skynard, Hendrix, Rush, Tool, Queen. how to narrow it down?

Worst... if its pop or rap, it is pretty much shit. beyond that... cant tell either

also lots & losts of bests, but that might just be cause i've lived a long time & have heard lots & lots of music by now.....
