Wow, that's the first thing I think of.  Well that and clinic bombings.

That hurts these guys feelings.

I wonder if anyone mentioned them in the most embarrasing music thread.

As much as I deplore abortion and agree with the sentiment the plate says, I'd tend to agree with the court in that it could be seen as politically charged.  Then again, it also strikes me as rather oversensitive, so.. meh.

I mean, jeeze, even though abortion's been a topic on the board lately, the abortion issue doesn't come to mind when I see "Choose Life".  To me, it sounds like one of those corny inspirational sayings, like, "Live like each day was your last!" or something.

It's a pretty sad day when people see "Life" and default to abortion. =/

I think if the anti-abortion actvists hadn't shown up in the media waving signs that said "choose life", most people wouldn't make that mental connection :)

All the more reason for abortion to die off, then.

I wonder whether we'll have 'Choose death' number plates available for death penalty advocates in states that apply it?

I thought exactly the same thing.  And the funny, ironic thing is that the same hypocrites who would have a "Choose Life" tag in reference to abortion would also need the "Choose death" plates since most of them just totally dig the death penalty.  Life is so precious (as long as it's unborn).  Screw 'em once they're birthed, esp. if they wind up in prison.  Aaaarrrggghhh, I'll never understand it..............luci

I'm from Florida where they have offered a choose life license plate.  I wasn't so offended that they offered such a plate, but I was offended that they didn't offer a plate supporting the pro-choice way of thinking.  It was get a palm tree, get a flag, get a manatee or get a choose life plate.  It made no sense to represent one very controversial issue without recognizing its opposition.  That seemed very political.

I take solace in the fact that there is the slenderest possibility that Christians are actually going to get the exact thing in which they seem most to believe: heavy judgment.

Yeah, that's heavy judgment slapping you upside the head like a big wet cock. It's coming, baby!

Yup. Every group should get their way when they come up with an annoying slogan that a lot of people remember.
