You've heard it called oxymoron, or contradiction in terms, or just plain WRONG (like butterred-popcorn flavored jelly beans). It's when two words that don't belong together are written or spoken in the same sentence. I'm sure you all have your favorites. Here's mine:

Have you seen those commercials featuring Sally Field? The first time I saw one, I said,

Oh, my gawd! GIDGET has OSTEOPOROSIS!

And if you're too young to get it, ask someone my age.

jumbo shrimp is usually on the list. If it's shrimpy, it's small. If it's jumbo it's big.  Yeah I know it refers to count of shrimp per pound but still...
