We exchange cards, I get a rose... maybe some candy. I like to get him gummi bears. Pretty standard "vanilla" (*gasp*!) stuff.

Hmm, I wont be doing anything other than going to bed as soon as I get out of work so that the day will be over sooner. Maybe I will send some valentines cards to some friends of mine but that is about the sum of it. *shrugs*

Well, I'll be dragging out and dusting off the old red diaper and sash.
Then the usual running around and shooting people in the ass with
my little bow and arrow.

I've learned to run away fairly quickly to keep from getting arrested.

All in all, quite the fun filled day.

We're likely going to dinner somewhere (using one of our Entertainment book coupons - buy one meal get one meal free) and then heading over to the dollar theater if there's anything good on for a double feature. We'll get popcorn and candy and soda and hold hands and I'll probably wear a dress for the occasion, so his hands may wander. The theater will be dark though, so no matter, right? [sm=lol.gif]

I end up gagging and dying the entire day for the simple fact I hate chocolate and its smell so valentine's day = pure torture

Every year is the same, I remain hopeful that I will get the huge teddy bear, choclates, flowers, balloons all that, and I usually don't get a damn thing...but this year will be the top in sucky Valentines Days..I have been selected for Jury Duty!!! Hooray! This will surely be a year I won't forget...[:o]

I have an aversion to this holiday. No offence to anyone out there but it gets tiring that the holiday is marketed very Hetero. Don't misunderstand, I do not wear a rainbow flag and demand that everyone out there accepts my orientation or that I get to sit in the front of the bus too. I don't really like confrontation and don't see the need to shove anything into anyone's face. And the facts are facts. Heterosexuals outnumber homosexuals and frankly that's the way it ought to be for population considerations and is not something I have an issue with. Just imagine, though, that those Kay's Jewlery commericials or Hershey's commercials showed a pair of men sharing the holiday sentiment together or two women. I think the outrage from most of the public would be heard for miles, it certainly would be provocative. Sure, some companies will make gay oriented ads in gay magazines but they wouldn't dare put them in mainstream ones. It just would be nice to see a Valentine's Day commercial and feel as if I could relate.

Maybe they should make BDSM oriented commercials too while they're at it. Wouldn't it be fun to see a commercial with the man in bondage on his knees to his female dominant with him holding out a box of chocolates in his mouth, she whips him so he yelps and drops it into her hand with this malicious yet oh so seductive grin on her lips? Or something similar with whatever your imagination comes up with. I just picture a lot of Vanillas sitting on their couches with their mouths draped open, maybe some jumping off the couch yelling "SIN! SIN!"

All in all, I celebrate my love with my Master every chance I get and even though I don't particularly have great feelings about this holiday I do not go out of my way to bring those who do enjoy it down. It's not my place and I've known too many who do it just to be spiteful bastards. Not my thing. This year we'll be apart again, I might go shopping and find something nice to send up to his dorm so that he knows I'm thinking of him but otherwise it will pass me by with only mild irritation.

that's what Sir use to do with me but, We really dont celebrate it anymore, instead last year i created what i called Master / slave day, cooked Him dinner, and treated Him with a few things.

Haha!  And I was just thinking about those things!  The ones with "be mine" have a little different connotation here eh?  Is it inapropriate for a sub to give something to a dom with "be mine"?  I was trying to think of kinky sounding V-Day hearts or cards...  any thoughts?
