owner I stand by my prediction. I think the Republicans will coalese after our primary, and get our base. I see huge amounts of fighting on the Left/Demside. And doubt that your side can hold it together. It has been traditional for the party that holds the presidency to lose seats in non presidential election years. It is almost an iron clad rule. 02 was a major exception. In 06 the Dems barely beat the odds on that. So citing the 06 elections as a surge, sounds a political speech, not a reality based anaylsis to me. I do think that huge numbers of left leaning folks are voting in the primaries, but they have to coaless for the general election. Are the Kucinich people going to vote for hillary? I kind of doubt it. We can use this forum as an analogy. On the question of support Bush or not. Not is a huge majoirty. But it includes, you Sinergy, Real, Termn8, Farg, Churro, Thompson X, ect. a range of radical beliefs. You are not all going to vote for the same candidate. 08 is not a vote of no confidence. 08 is not a national election. Dems keep forgeting this, confusing what they wish with what is. Which is the root of most Left leaning problems, but that is a digression. It is a series of state elections for the purpose of selecting electors to elect a president. And I think the Reps have a reasonable chance, which has improved recently, and that who ever wins will get a low %. I think a split on both the right and left is possible. But we shall of course see in Nov.
