Hon, if you don't like chauvinistic males, why the hell are you into BDSM?
Don't you know that Domination, by a mle, over a submissive female, is one of total control.
Now, open the fucking car door for me, pull my seat out for me, wrap my cape around my shoulders and Shut up!

I must say that if ANY male or female including my Master spoke to me that way (unless I was already being disciplined or in trouble) they would be met with total absolute DEFIANCE! There is such a thing as respect. An animal (even a human one) does not respond well to constant anger and disrespect. Certainly a raised voice and rudeness may be tolerated by some as the norm, but not by me.

It's so funny to read Fastlane's sense of humour constantly misunderstood all over the forums

Edit : oh, I'm going to be misunderstood here :) ... I really like his sense of humour !

Some people get it...and some don't!, but I'm glad that those who do enjoy it!
As far as the copyright infringement arguement, I was obviously wrong and I'm never afraid to say so, when proved wrong.
Thank you all who have enlightened me!
Especially you E.S......no B.S., but if you repeat this, please attach fastlane to it

Has anyone had a problem with a Dom who was/is basically a chauvinist? I've had a few vanilla relationships with that problem, and they soon ended. Does it spill into BDSM? Where does a Dominant male end and some chauvinist attributes start?

Big Eyes

I think a lot of chauvinistsic men think they are just Dominant because they dont get that respect, manners etc. are a big part of BDSM. Others just use the "Im a Dom." excuse to behave badly towrards women. Well, thats what I think anyway...

In all honesty and some who know me here can confirm this.
Fastlane does pull out chairs and open doors, as that is how I was raised.
I do always exercise manner's and politeness, as that is how I raise my sons.
I do listen to everyone and if I disagree, which I often do, I do so without violence, but with arguement.

However, in closing, I will add, if your tied and blindfolded at my hands, don't expect Fastlane to say, "Miss, may I please take this opportunity to insert this butt plug and then may I please take my firm hand to your nubile and delicate soft Tush?"

No worry out of Fastlane's warped sence of humor, he was kidding............
but back to the topic, although some Dom's may be chauvinistsic one that comes readily to mind took the cake in telling me that *i* as a woman was no more then a second class citizen. Needless to say, it didnt take too long to shut that door.

Shock Horror! You dont ask -before- you do anything?. I do,I ask lots of questions. Sometimes I even ask things -before- I put a gag on her so she wont have to make silly grunting sounds when she's trying to reply with the proper respectful tone. I suppose Im just too soft for My own good.

Grrrrrrrr is right. Im no expert but I really think people who say that kind of thing arent really into BDSM, they seem to use it to get what they want and act how they want.

There are actually more than several men, just on this site, that think that women are an inferior "species". To me, that's bullshit. To each their own, though, unless they're inflicting their beliefs on me, or subjecting me to the effects of them. Oddly enough I had one guy stalk me on this site all last week. He said I should bow to him because I was inferior. I told him I was taken,"no thank you", and I disagree. He went on a rampage and created several different profiles, spamming my mailbox and calling me all sorts of lovely names, then closing them before I could e-mail him back. ICK!!!!!
Anyway, you have to judge where the chauvinism starts for yourself. Basically, if you're uncomfortable, or feel you're being talked down to outside of scene, feel free to tell that person to pipe down.

Fastlane I must apologize. I am not familiar with your sense of humor but looking at the comment in that light brings a totally different perspective. Now that I know what to look for I don't think I will have that problem again. lol

See to me that isn't chauvinism, that would be just plain being a jack ass, and I was once called a chauvinist by my date because I opened the door for her and pulled out her seat.

Ain't your momma ever teach you to treat ladies with respect?

Both of my Masters are ardent feminists. They fully believe that all women should and can do anything she wants to do, and that gender is meaningless when it comes to personal or professional accomplishments.

In the bedroom, things between the three of us are a little different in that they are totally in charge. But at no time have I or any other female ever been regarded by them as somehow "less" than they consider themselves to be.
