quote:
ORIGINAL: DesFIP It's oneupmanship. Part of that I'm a slave not a sub or master not dom, therefore I'm more twue than you. After all, how can you oneup someone who has a 'slavebelly' except by saying you're beyond being a slave, you're more twue because you're property. The ones who claim they are property, yet don't even live together, have known each other for a matter of months ldr only, proclaim it so loud and often that you have to think "the lady(gent) doth profess". Saying you're something doesn't make it so. It just makes you look like a twit. About owning a daog. People often make that mistake that gaining a dog's attention is easy. Dogs frequently have affectionate natures, but only show them to people they like. No dog comes to someone it doesn't like for affection. You took the words out of my mouth Des, how did you know what I wanted to say? When I say things like this, I get accused of being too "snarky", or the traditionally used, "you are without a Master, so you must be jealous or not understand the twue meaning of being owned". And when I read that, I hear the voice of Charlie Brown's teacher in background, wah wah wah wah.... But most often I hear the Shakespeare line you used. [:D]
