Niners!!!

Then again, I'm a San Francisco girl.  But I was pretty much in love with Montanta, Rice, Craig, and Ronnie Lott.  NO one got by Ronnie Lott!!

I've never been a Dallas fan and never will be.

Pittsburg is a close second.

So are the Raiders.  Too bad Al Davis is an ass.

Aww, Level do you still love me?  I CAN'T be a Dallas fan, it's sacrilegious to a Niner!

Of course I do [;)]

One great season?  I beg to differ, they have won 3 championships already, and on Sunday it will be 4.  That is a lot more than one great season.  Not to mention that win will kill the Dolphins record completely.  Not trying to be disagreeable, just stating the facts. Oh, and Tom Brady.....yum.

Patriots=dynasty=best team ever

New England, who knew, the Red Sox, finally, the Pats, repeatedly, it just keeps getting better.  [:)]

Easy killer....lol

The Pats DO have a great team, super record, NFL records broken ALL over the place, but we're talking the BEST TEAM EVER.  To me, that encompasses much more than *one* season...*shrug*

Celtics rock too.

Lol @ killer,  I am going to call you tiger now! ( or should it be tigress? lol )

Okay, I get a little worked up over the Pats:)
Tomorrow is going to one hell of a game either way.

Go Pats!!!!!

I can not think of any certain team but I feel that if you go back to when the rules didn't protect the quarterback, passers etc. you will find teams that could walk over any of todays. Also you must keep in mind who the competition is/was and why the hell does everyone think you have to have the best quarterback in history to be the best TEAM.....The Pats ARE a great team as are many others now but the best in history???No way...these guys wouldn't make it to half time playing in the rules of the 60's...

Keep in mind that would work both ways, though....today's players are far, far bigger and faster than those of the 60s.

What would happen if you had an O-line weighing in the 240s, maybe 250s, facing D-linemen just as quick, but weighing over 300 pounds?

Hmmm, we might need to scratch the 2007 Pats off the list.....

Greatest NFL team of all time? It sure isn't the 2007 Patriots.

Lordandmaster -> RE: Greatest NFL team of all time? (2/4/2008 1:32:35 AM)

No, you're talking about the '85 Bears (who won the Super Bowl in January of 1986).  The 49ers won in 1984.

I think it was either the '85 Bears or the '62 Packers.  Certainly wasn't the fucking '07 Patriots.

It was the 84 Bears, they won the 85 Superbowl. I watched the game, got to stay up late. That was such a great team and season...
