Status: offline 		( for rick19)---why do you think the concept of female supremacy is more accepted on the boards than male supremacy?

Status: offline 		Probably the same reason gentlemen's clubs are frowned upon but women's only groups are accepted.

My theory is that we don't have a gazillion year history of male suppression in this country (or any other, most likely), which creates serious sensitivity and passionate reponses to anything resembling its recreation.

There are always the back up theories that:  (A) people think it's hot; or (B) people think it's too silly to give credence to.

I loathe the concept of female supremacy. I loathe the opposite as well... I have never posted in the Gorean forum because of it.

I find female supremacy distasteful because of the attitude female supremacists have displayed toward female submissives. One reaction is that we are less than they for being submissive... paraphrasing one domme on these boards "Women are superior to men, not all women are, some of them are submissive, and they are lower than men... unless they submit to another women"... kinda nasty in my opinion.

Also, a lot of female supremacists believe that this superiority is in all aspects of life... I have male offspring, brothers, and I take exception to that line of thought...

So I do not find either male or female superiority palatable... although I accept everyone has a right to their opinion.. on the boards I just pass up their posts.. in real life I am likely to walk away.

I've seen this view expressed before and I find it laughable, given that I could probably run circles around some of these chicks in the work place or elsewhere.

I would like to see one with these sorts of views that have any real accomplishments other than being born with a vagina It is like when one sees KKK members gathered together without their hoods on... derelicts of all sorts and types... boys with acne, men with bear bellies, the slow witted... the insecure... only thing they have accomplished was being born to a "superior" race. I think the same way about gender supremacists... if the only thing you have to offer to prove your superiority is a trait you were born with... how very sad for you. Personally, I do not want to be deemed valuable because of the Xs or the Ys on my chromosome... but then again, I have some accomplishments outside of that

Absolutely.  One of the arguments I often see points to the history of women, being nurturers, giving birth to males, etc.  I didn't realize all I had to do was get fucked by a man and push a baby out to be superior.  No wonder my ex husband didn't want me to have kids, lol. 

I realize that criticizing those who believe this philosophy may be unfair.  I'm sure some of these women are decent people in their own right.  I just really do not ascribe to their views... not that a lowly slavegirl like me has any credibility with them anyway.  :)

No, ownedgirlie, you were right the first time. And by the same logic it is why racial discrimination is wrong, but reversed racial discrimination is acceptable. The phrase you were looking for is called 'political correctness.'

Discrimination is discrimination... there is nothing reversed about it... sorry, that term bothers me because it is just another way of phrasing something for an agenda in my opinion.... it is a politically charged phrase

Yeah I second that notion.. eww...

No one is better then one one else simply because of what is in thier pants.
I may joke that males have the "extra faulty chomosome" ~ they in fact do.. and the lil sucker is shedding DNA like nuts.... but it doesnt make them less of a person. Women spewing out babies doesnt make them better.. hell watch Jerry Springer some time. I wish every one subscribed to the idea that no half of the human race was better then the other.. esp. the church.

There is a quote in my e-mail I use from Napoleon... it of course stands for Women as well as Men.

All men are equal before God: wisdom, talents, and virtue are the only difference between them.

Heck.. I am one of those odd ball types that do not thing Dom/mes are better then subs or slaves. We are all people. All equal.

I can not stand any discrimination.. I dont give a fig who starts it. I rant and rave on my home page about discrimination all the time. You shoulda heard me when Isaiah Washington pulled his crap. Just because you are of a minority group does not give you apt reason or a free pass to be predjudice against others. When you get called on it.. then say well I am a such and such.. so you are just scared of me.. Gods he pissed me off.

I think it is.  I often attribute it to three different reasons:

1.  Those who are into it like it.

2.  Those who aren't into it usually don't take it seriously.

3.  The reverse-prejustice* effect.  After women being oppressed for so long, it sounds sexist to do something resembling oppressing a woman, but men are supposed to suck it up.  (Same deal with white and black people, and other sorts of prejustices.  Very few people are going to take a white person claiming racial abuse from a black person as seriously as they would the other way around.)
