I know that if I have nobody in my life (a sexual partner) then it is time for me to reflect on myself. I am a firm believer that we all need time between relationships... time for self seeking... and when I have been cocky with my [idea of] God, and say I am fine the way I am, why no person... the TRUE answer comes out.

Please, take time to reflect on your desires as a human being and as the beautiful person that you are... when you are deserving of your own attentions, and you act upon it (I don't mean masturbation either) you will find peace with whatever comes your way, whether it is abstinence or a blessed union.

Be patient and know it is just not time. your frustration and desperation is a red light indicator that you seek another to make you feel like a whole person. And it truly is not healthy to depend on others to fulfill your life's desires or your destiny... It is healthy to be YOU... and if you don't know who YOU is, the time to do so is WAY WAY overdue...

I may not know much about the lifestyle, but I do know that for me to be attractive and desirable, I must be confident and blossoming with not only my sexuality, but with my zest for life and ALL it offers me daily. I am sure that all of the members here and other lifestylers are not fucking/playing 24/7. nor do I imagine the slaves/subs get locked in a room without an opportunity to experience the world and sieze an opportunity to at least go to McDonalds for a new Mocha Java (*sorry* it just sounds good) or a visit to Mom and Dad's once in a while... A Dom/Master would be paranoid (and who wants a paranoid Dom/Master? Hmm) and not very loving or caring of themselves to not care enough about other's humaness and human needs to give their sub/slave some freedom to enjoy life....

*sheesh! I get deep, but I am only being honest, and when an opinion is sought, I cannot help but respond if it is on my heart to do so*

Please, correct me if I am wrong anybody?

I know it is scary being alone and feeling ignored but perhaps you do need time to get your personal life together so that you have more to offer. Try joining groups that are in your area, go to munchs, I have heard it is good place for single searching BDSM'ers. Blessings to you...

Desperation is a turn off.

Beyond that, you want to find someone you can give your personal power to. However you don't have any personal power to give to them. The stronger and happier you are on your own, the more likely you are to find someone else.

Think about it. If you go to a party do you want to talk to someone who only complains about how lonely and unhappy they are, or would you rather spend your time talking to someone who makes you feel good, who is upbeat and who transfers that happiness to those surrounding him/her?

Watch what you ask for. Know the type of person you are looking for. What can you handle. I have a young friend who is so open and uninhibited that she would scare off some men. I also have a friend who is super independent but is submissive. She is to strong for a lot of men to handle. If you have inhibitions then set your limits to what you can handle.
