Status: offline 		Woooo...flamed BIG time and it was not a wanker question! if it was, i would have worded it MUCH better for that.

i figured someone, Domme or sub, might have run into this and was just interested in the security agent's reaction.

actually sounds like a good way to subtly let people know you have some interests in some variation of kink.


oh, and i TOTALLY agree on people have to be ready, have everything out and ready to go when they get to the table where everything must be broken out. i've missed flights my minutes before that getting through security faster would have helped not happen

Now THERE's a thought! and if you fly first class, an upgrade to a milking from just a prostate exam. not sure about the companion upgrade for a woman though.

Status: offline 		Hehe...the last time we flew home for Christmas the guy 3-4 people in front of us was in such a rush - shoes off 7 people in advance, laptop out, ticket ready, everything.  Puts everything on the belt, goes through the detectors no problem, grabs his laptop and carryon and takes off.  Came back 10 minutes later for his shoes >.>

The only time I'd ever had a problem with security was when I packed gift pack of airport sized lotions, shampoo etc in a carryon on accident, still in it's original packaging.  Thankfully it all fit in a little plastic baggie, after I was informed it was there by the scanners ^^;

Status: offline 		Going through the airport security device and ringing off bells, I was subjected to "the wand" quite...er...intimately.  In short skirt and heels, what the hell could I hide??  lol   Well, she found all my piercings <hehe> then got to my shoes.  Who the hell knew my 6" stilettos had a steel shank and heel core??  I calmly asked her if she knew of any stiletto races upcoming in the area.  She had no sense of humour.

Hopefully, this link will work.  'Twas sent to me by a friend and seems like a good idea to me.

i've posted about this before... It's only a matter of time before somebody fashions a huge butt plug out of plastic explosive and tries to get it on the plane... and then life is gonna get REALLY interesting for travellers. Mark my words.

Incidentally, if you're like me (my condolences) and drink a LOT of water, best thing to do is pack a few empty water bottles, and fill them at the water fountain after you get through security. Just not at ATL, the water tastes like crap there

Status: offline 		I do not think something like shoes is a good way to let any one know anything, other than type of shoes you're wearing. Shoes are a fashion statement, Same as collars with goths are fashion statements. To say hey look their wearing a collar they must be a slave, or hey look their wearing high heeled thigh high boots they must be a domme is extreamly off the mark. Hell I wore knee high boots* then refered to as granny boots* as a 10 year old cause I loved them they were comfy and I liked dressing old fashioney, My mother wore them too, and she's not the slightest bit kinky. I wore chokers too, because I thought they looked awsome on my slender neck.

I'd wear dog collars now cause they'd make great cheap jewelery if I liked things on my neck. Items wore are to varied and the means behind them to varried to be an indication of kink in my mind.

Status: offline 		As much as I adore boots, and as practical as they are for me in winter, and as hard as it sometimes is to find non-boot shoes that work with some of my outfits, I've sometimes avoided wearing even knee-high boots on planes, because I want to expedite the security process. Thigh-high boots would be an enormous and unnecessary pain in the neck for security and I'll bet I'd find them binding for a long flight in a way I wouldn't find knee-high boots. (I wouldn't fly in pajamas and slippers, but I do think about comfort and endurance for clothes to wear when traveling.) OP: I realize this is probably far more prosaic than what I imagine you were hoping to read!

Status: offline 		The leather boots I have are below the knee but high on the calves, they zipper and have a flat 1 1/2" heel... perfect for prowling around and very comfy.  Also, if it happens to be wet or snowy, they serve a duel purpose.  The boot fetishists at the dungeon love them.

my barbells set off the machine.  i know that's what it was, i had a soft sportsbra on, tshirt, sweats, and moccasins.  no metal anywhere else.  the poor lil gal who wanded me was like "underwire bra?"  and i said "piercings"  and she was beet red "umm..i have to pass the back of my hand over your..." 

i laughed.

Hey, I do not half thigh high leather boots, nor am I a woman, but I recently travelled via airports and I was foolish enough to wear ' New Rocks'. Well, they were too big and heavy for the case and the measily 15 kg luggage weight, so I wore them.

Anyway, every security, they took great interest in my boots, they went through so many scanners I am sure they must now glow in the dark. And I received comments like, 'What the hell are those', and   they look like something out of Judge Dread.

And of course, because of the way I was dressed, I was the suspect of the day and  no, I did'nt get the private search.

Mind, it was a business flight populated by grey suits and there was me in black leather and new rocks.
