Why is it so hard for poeple to be honest and up front?
I am a having a hard time meeting a real person how is nice both on the vanilla side and the "other" side.

I did meet a really wonderful person but she is in the same field as I am in and that freaked her out.

Any ideas?

It's a law of the universe that we are going to have a hard time connecting. We not only want the same thing a vanilla person wants but we also want a complementary kink. Added to this, people freak. Libby and I have had people go into shock when they found out "who we are" since obviously we played at a higher level than they did. Despite the fact we were discussing a service scene with "advanced" thing like foot massage and warm oil play.

One thing I could suggest is you try your local offline groups. Just remember they are often like a consignment store. If you dont' like what's there today, come back next week. New "stuff" arrives all the time.

Have you tried Long Island Leather n Roses---it is a wonderful group and most of the people I met there are sincere. It is a Yahoo group, but it also meets every week, first at a diner then at a special place, and after they get to know you, they do have private parties. It is a place to meet people from LI intop the scene who respect honesty, and all that goes with it.

Look it up on the search engine, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Ok..... I just had to do it. I looked at the O.P.'s profile. Which should've been his first clue. Absolutely no domme I know of is impressed by an opening line proclaiming:
