If you want to feel old, date someone 10 years younger than you... and make a reference to things you did when you were growing up. Most of which they have NEVER heard of...
Or preface a conversation with "You might not have been around when this happened but..."
Or "This might have been before your time"
Or find a favorite toy of yours in an antique shop...

Yeah, you feel old.

I wouldn't know I plan to stay young and strong forever.

Come on ...
come on ...
Come on and get down with the sickness.

While I don’t consider myself old yet (at 42), I have recently become aware that I’ve reached a point in my life that I can tell young people about things I didn’t have when I was their age (remember when your grandparents used to bore you with that?). For example, I can tell a thirteen-year-old, "when I was your age, there was no such thing as a computer in the house." or another one – "when I was your age and you wanted to make a phone call, you had to go to a room in the house where the phone was, and you had to stay there until the call was done." There are many more, I’m sure.

A few other tidbits I’d like to toss in:

"The body you have at twenty is largely the result of genetics. The body you have at forty is largely the result of behavior (i.e. drinking, smoking, etc.)"
– somebody

"It’s a shame that youth is wasted on young people."
– somebody else

"There are only two things wrong with young people – they think they know everything and they don’t know anything. That’s arrogance combined with ignorance. At best, it is amusing but at worst it can be fatal."
– someone or other
