MoGa *Who misses Ga. every day*

I so don't keep up with the other side!  You finally moved here (and not Tucson as originally planned!) and you didn't let Me know?  MamaDomme1 is here now also.
We must all get together for TEA!  (Just not on SuperBowl Sunday!)
So sorry you are missing Ga. everyday.  Let's try to fix that!

Oh yeah, MH asked me to contact you regarding a houseboy, but we can speak on the other side about that <s> I didn't know there were so many from CM here. I've been out of my mind with lonliness! I would love to have tea with the Girls :)

Well that's a fine how do you do! lol don't you know not to be grounded on special weekends? Well once you get off restriction, you can ask your Master if you can have tea with us [:D]

PrizedPosession -> RE: Super Bowl Sunday...Any plans? Thoughts on the Events? (2/3/2008 12:39:44 AM)

But yea that would be wonderful if i ever get ungrounded lol.

GoddessDustyGold -> RE: Super Bowl Sunday...Any plans? Thoughts on the Events? (2/3/2008 12:41:42 AM)

I am sure you will not be grounded forever!  Perhaps your Master will allow you to spend some time with us when we plan something if we promise him to to put any cheeky ideas into your head!  Is he local also?  I don't like to assume.  And we don't want to get you grounded again!  [;)]

PrizedPosession -> RE: Super Bowl Sunday...Any plans? Thoughts on the Events? (2/3/2008 12:44:00 AM)

No, He's not local sadly. Sometimes i'm allowed out so if there are definite plans maybe i can. i would love to meet people in the local area.

That's right, I bet an entire dollar that the Giants are going to win. I'll be needing it to buy a soda during the lunch break.

I didn't know about it until I went to get my haircut this week; my barber told me.  I went out on a date last night, and that was absolutely horrible.  So I stopped by my favorite tavern and drank and played pool afterwards.  So, now I am nursing a bitch of a hangover.  I haven't bothered to turn on the T.V. today.  Football just ain't my thing.

KatyLied -> RE: SuperBowl Sunday...Any plans? Thoughts on the Events? (2/3/2008 11:10:57 AM)

I'm thinking one cocktail and eating too much food.  The winner of the game is incidental.  But if they pan too many times to the Manning family I may puke.

domiguy -> RE: SuperBowl Sunday...Any plans? Thoughts on the Events? (2/3/2008 11:15:35 AM)

Heading to a friends...He just completed his man cave...Huge high def tv...Food, A brand new kegerator...Will be drinking Dogfish Head 60 minute on tap...90 minute would have been preferred...Oh well.

I kind of want the Pats to win....I'm tired of the Dolphins.

kittinSol -> RE: SuperBowl Sunday...Any plans? Thoughts on the Events? (2/3/2008 1:54:03 PM)

Stone me if you want, but I don't like american football, and I actually HATE televised sports. The whole advertising/marketing/moneypit, the chips, the beer, the noise... the thought of it makes me feel dizzy.

All in all, on a day like today, I'm pretty much fucked. Or not, whichever way you want to look at it, since any sexual attention I may get has been diverted to the magic box (not mine, alas!) . I watched a football match on television here, for the sake of anthropological research, and I noted that there was more advertising than game. YAWN lol.

PS: footballers need to take off their protective gear so that we can watch really get hurt [8D] .

PPS: here's an article by David Lengel:

quote:

For me, the time leading up to the "big show" signals the start of an annual rant. Why do my fellow countrymen and women celebrate Super Bowl advertising like a holiday? Why we are so happy to be wrapped around the fingers of billion dollar brands that have no loyalty to us? Why do conversations in living rooms across the 50 states (and in Canadian homes that are peeking in via boarder town TV affiliates) grind to a halt as the game coverage concludes and ads appear on our screens? "Shhhh, shhhh, the commercials are on, quiet!"

It's regularly pointed out that these ads are worked on for months, and that commercials in general have budgets that per second are significantly higher than mainstream feature films. In other words, there is plenty of eye candy to go around. But so what, they're ads! Our obsession is something that I may never understand, and that many British people reading this will not relate to as they are "stuck" watching everyday British commercials or UK based commentators, while us "lucky ones" across the pond get to gaze in amazement at Pepsi's latest pitch.

Maybe it's a case of Stockholm syndrome. Have Americans fallen in love with the advertisers who have captured them? Are we slaves to big business? Do we exist to consume? Perhaps it's a case of if you can't beat them, join them. Even better, celebrate them! Go Budweiser! Hooray for Toyota! Did you see that Vista ad - I love Microsoft! Who needs teams to root for, we have global brands! Forget the Giants, I'm all about T-Mobile.

(...)

So as I sip my Diet Coke and dig into some 94% fat free natural flavoured microwave Pop Secret popcorn, I'll be waiting for a game-breaking Super Bowl ad from General Motors, and an MVP performance from Gatorade's advertising agency. In between those airings, I'll be on the lookout for any wardrobe malfunctions, and maybe, just maybe, a few downs of football.

well here i sit on Super Bowl day watching Figure Skating.  lmao  How pathetically girly is that?  [8|]

faerytattoodgirl -> RE: SuperBowl Sunday...Any plans? Thoughts on the Events? (2/3/2008 2:01:53 PM)

hockey is great to watch... not many commercials because they only go commercial on a "tv time out" which is like 1-2 times per period.  or if there is an injured player on the ground that hasnt got up for a while they'll do commercial.
players get hurt OFTEN in hockey.  and the fights are great!

football on tv sucks ass due to commercials yes.... but come on... you get to see HOT CHEERLEADERS!!!  that makeup for the commercials...

I will be watching the game on my HD tv with 5.1 surround sound with my slave at my feet taking care of me during the game. What could be better? I sure hope it is a good game. Go Patriots!

I know what you mean about the cheerleaders, but then again if one's into cheerleaders, one can rent specialist DVDs for a nominal fee from one's local Movie Rental company [8D] .
