It wouldn't be a barrier in and of it's self, but it -would- be complicated, safety would -have- to be paramount, not just for you but your inborn child. Also, there'd be the little matter of the context in which you got pregnant-is that relationship well and truly over etc. Is there no way you could get back in the future? what about custody issues?.

OK Taken by john.... did you ever think that with all your snootiness that you can still get preg even if you use protection..... I was on the pill have been for about 5 years...... to regulate period.... but i still got preg..... The navy didnt explain rules.. just because i choose to serve doenst mean i give up everything.

All Im gonna say is this.... To you...... Its people like me.. who pregnant or not... get up at 5am and work till 8pm..... to preserve democracy and give the right to say the stupid things you do.... If it wasnt for those soldiers, sailors, airman and marines pregnant or not....... you wouldnt be able to say the dumb stuff you do.... too bad its not russia where you would have already been taken out and shot for your stupidity.

OK... to answer another question.. yes I am in the navy... im an active duty sailor with almost two years of duty behind me on a five year enlistment. NO I DID NOT do this to get out... I have already been asked several times if I want a hardship discharge.. NO I DO NOT. I want to serve and I will finsish it out. That is why I cannot relocated. I am a Sailor and pregnant or not I will still stand my duty and my watch until Its time to have this baby. There are other women at my command who work until the day the deliver. That will be me... Im still running, swimming and PT'in and working like every other person at my command. The only luxury that I have taken since (Im not even wearing maternity uniforms yet) is to wear Tennis Shoes instead of boots... and thats cause my feet are swelling like crazy...... and as for the Abortion... THere is NO way in hell I would ever have an abortion. Point Blank Period end of discussion on that one

you know i have to give you a lot of kudos. the military is hard enough but to stick it out is even harder. my mom got pregnant with me halfway through her enlistment and would have stayed in if it was for childcare issues (my dad couldn't even figure out how to dress me properly).

you've got a backbone and balls and know how to use them.

Thanks Fluffy...... Im beginning to get the answers I need...... Its difficult... I mean I am sorta alone.... Hell Im still new to the whole sex thing much less getting preg..... my whole body is like... whooooah... what the crap... and on top of all of this.. the worst news of all.........


My stupid Nutrionist Consult today.... the Nutrisionist said no more MT Dew..... wanna see one pissed off girl... thats me now! Im sooo addicted to my Dew... and she said no more energy drinks.... I drink 5 rumbas before lunch every day and mt dew from lunch till bed time..... so pretty much i gotta get a whole new diet!!!!!!!

lol. you'll adjust, just temper it down slowly. lots of water, that flavored fizzy water is good.

i have no idea what religion you are but have you thought about going to see your chaplain? they might have a list of resources that you could access anyway. my mom was sort of in the same boat. they (my parents) were married illegally under naval law (they eloped in virgina beach) right before deployment. my mom was supposed to go back to orlando when it was still open and my dad was supposed to go back to alaska, and they ended up on argentia in newfoundland when it was still active. it was a really fast pregnancy too so i feel your pain (though obviously i was the end result and not an active participants lol).

I hate water.. I used to drink water joe.. which was caffinne in water... ha.... anyways.. im Methodist.... and Ive already seen the chaplin... right after this happend... I got some resources.. I mean im good.. Im keepin my head above water.. looking for a place now.. I have to move out of barracks.. but cant move into family housing.. until i have the baby then get on the wait list.... stupid military...... but im all good..... plus out of all of this....... I found out my local CVS pharmacy was having a scrunchie sale when i went in to buy water... so i wasted 20 bucks and now have like 5 billion scrunchies!

It means that the moderator has to approve the post before it can get posted.
The person awaiting approval has done something that is against the rules of TOS, and such.

I am so glad you are getting the advice you have needed. I have much respect for you. i cant begin to know what to tell you. You are much stronger than I. I couldnt have done it. I do hope you get some support. Make the guy pay child support. Take him to court. Aside from that, if you have family and friends, when your duty is over, move close to them. It really does take a village to raise a child. Without one its just a very big struggle. I will pray for you.
