This is a FR ~ Did she use birth control is a legitimate question. The Op is under no obligation to respond however, as it is quite a personal question. However to assume automatically that she didn't use contraception is an indication that one has already decided the OP is in the wrong. Here is a little story. When I was much, much younger - I thought I was in love and my contraception failed - and after just over a month I lost a precious and 'unfortunate' occurance. I was 18 when I married. By 21 I was pregnant because my contraception failed me again - not only was I on the pill, I was using condoms as well. I now have a beautiful surprise, who, at the time was an unfortuante occurance. But I love him more and more with every passing moment. He is my gift, my struggle, the person who helped shape me into what I am now, just as much as I have influenced his life. Two years after him and with a conscious decision I had my third blessing - I only have to sneeze and I fall pregnant. Not once did I give up BDSM. NOT ONCE did I deny myself the ability to be me. Neither did I stop my children in anyway shape or form - and yes in the womb they probably heard EVERYTHING. That is why, today - they rock more than most of their peers in understanding and tollerance. the.dark.

We all make mistakes, no one here is perfect either. I can tell you I'm sorry you are embroiled in this drama, it really has nothing to do with you or your questions and I would really like to see you stick around because despite the nasty turn this thread has taken you can get support here from people that do have knowlege and wisdom. I have a good friend whose wife got pregnant later in life. He was livid and acted incredibly immaturely at first. He is now one of the most gushing, picture toting, talking incessently about his child parents I have ever seen. It will get better and you are not wrong for being shocked at your situation or the ramifications of it. In fact, I see people all the time that treat pregnancy as commonplace without considering whether they are truly ready for the responsibilities of raising a healthy child. It's a tough road you are on. I won't pretend to tell you it will be easy. I will tell you that I'm sorry you find yourself on it unwittingly but many people find themselves there and later realize this road is wonderful despite how they got on it originally. While it may seem that being in the service and pregnant is detrimental, you may find that the programs they have to help you and your child are actually very beneficial. Good luck to you. The "rest of the story" isn't even germain to the question. Nor is sympathy for failed birthcontrol or condemnation for not using it. Maybe I havent read the entire thread... but I think the OP simply asked if now was good to get into being a sub. She didnt want opinions on her situaion as to the pregnancy, whether or not there was contraceptives used doesnt change the fact that she is. My answer is this might not be much of a time to be getting involved in anything, simply becasue of the emotional rollercoaster you are likely to be on. Being pregnant messes with emotions becasue of chemistry and it complicates all interactons, it could be the kiss of death for anew one. DV

If so, is the pregnancy your way of gettting out of the Navy ? There are easier ways. Per your profile you are unwilling to relocate which means a lot of potentials for you are not possible. If the father is out of the picture and you may want to have a child with your master, why not an abortion which is viable this early on in your pregnancy. I took on a sub who was pregnant about 25 years ago and helped her through her pregnancy and childbirth just to have her tell me she wanted to try to find someone else after the child was born. Good luck to you but I have to agree, learning and letting your body and mind do what they want now is the best way to go before jumping into a relationship where you might be hurt.

Oh. My. God. Bounty, I've seen you post before and you're a decent guy. If you'd seen the posts the Mods removed from this thread, I think you'd have been less concerned about asking your question, no matter how legit you might consider it in a thread that was even borderline sane. Please just take my word for it and back off. Some posters are acting like a hyena at a feeding frenzy -- smelling someone young and injured, and trying to rip as much away from her as possible. Hyenas are ugly. Their posts on this thread are uglier. Fortunately, the OP sounds as though she can see how ugly and false your posts are. I think she will be fine.

Nothing greater than the fortune of getting knocked up when your 17, dropping out of school, spending the rest of your life working as a cashier and waiter, and never being able to provide the child anything close to a decent future. I can just feel the fortune washing all over me as I write this.
