You get weird cravings and weird aversions. I couldnt eat chicken the whole time I was pregnant. I said "fowl is foul".

KatyLied -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/10/2008 9:01:37 AM)

I enjoyed the middle months of pregnancy.  I never had such a huge appetite or slept so well in my life.  With my first I craved brownies and orange juice.  With my second I had all-day morning sickness through most of my pregnancy, it wasn't nearly as much fun.

i was pregnant once. I didnt enjoy any of it. Well except for sex. I became almost a dominatrix. I had to have it or else!

KatyLied -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/10/2008 11:14:55 AM)

I enjoyed the first more than the second.  I was sick much more with the second, and I was trying to negotiate the due date with the doctor, as we disagreed 3 weeks on the calculation.  Needless to say, he and induction won that argument.  Even though I knew I was right.

FR

I've been following this thread from the beginning, never posting on it since many have given the advise I would myself give. However I have to comment a little bit [;)]  I'm really happy that things are on a positive track for you and I you deserve a praise for how you dealt with all the BS that was thrown at you, both in your private life and here on the boards. I wish you and the little one all the best

I had preeclampsia(pregnancy hypertenion). They spent 2 days trying to induce me but eventually I had a c-section.

regardless of how the pregnacy goes or delivery, having a child is more of a blessing than anything. It is the hardest thing you will ever do and it is by far the best spiritual and personal growth experience of a lifetime. many have disagreed with my opinions but I doubt anyone whos had a child would refute that.

You better not! You should be IN that bed, resting and getting better! I know you have to go work your shift (it SO sucks having to work when you're sick, I know), but you need to be taking the best care of yourself that you can!

pregnavygirl -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/12/2008 7:16:34 AM)

well Ms Greedy.. im home from work again.. and wishing i could crawl into bed with you

EvilBreit -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/13/2008 8:01:30 AM)

before answering that question, let's talk about pregnancy! what's is it to most of you
personally pregnancy is an honour given to women, men can make alot of things of wood or metal ....
but women are given the honour of making the human being, isn't that a miracle
for me a pregnant woman is a very beautiful woman, and a very tempting and appealing woman

KatyLied -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/13/2008 8:03:54 AM)

I don't know if it's an honor.  It's just something we do, biologically-speaking.  Almost any woman can do it.  And in case you haven't noticed, men also partake it in, at the very least through sperm donation, and hopefully as a guide to the child..

Bella1965 -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/13/2008 8:25:36 AM)

G'morning all:

(Fast Reply)

Not all pregnancies are a blessing. Frankly, if the mother-to-be feels so put upon, for whatever set of reasons, there are other options she can explore. Abortion namely. I realize that will probably raise the stakes of the flames on here. I haven't read all of the thread, so I'm not aware if this option has been broached. Perhaps the OP is not emotionally, physically or mentally ready for offspring. Even worse, perhaps not financially ready to make a 18+ year commitment of supporting same. From briefly perusing the OP's profile, it seems she has enough on her plate already by being young and enlisted.

Now for those of you enraged folks trembling to take offense and rip me a new butt hole, simmer down. I know of whence I speak, having had a similar situation when I was even younger than the OP. Yes, I made the decision to abort. Not every woman wants to be a mother. I'm not advocating abortion as a convenience or form of birth control. Merely a viable alternative to making a life altering decision of continuing with the pregnancy.

To the OP? If you wish to contact me on the other side, feel free to do so. I will offer whatever advice or emotional support I can provide, having been in your shoes. Be well, whatever you decide.

Stay safe, play nice, & share your toys w/ others...

[:D]

Yeah. I really don't see it as an honor since it's something all species do in order to carry on. Plus, a man (or woman!) can make a table by himself, he doesn't need a woman to help.

batshalom -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/13/2008 10:42:18 AM)

An honor. Huh. Sounds like something someone made up to make pregnancy / motherhood sound like it should be more interesting than it is. Pregnancy is nothing spectacular although it can be fun and interesting (and scary).

Labor and delivery, to me, the whole of it, was fairly enjoyable (yes it was painful but they make really all kinds of really cool meds for that) and then you have this little ... thing ... to look at, hold, and guide. It was an awe-inspiring trip for me, and I didn't want to have kids in the first place.

Talk about playing god; man, to this little creature you are everything. Now that mine are growing up (amazingly fast) I see little kids out in public and it pulls on me, tugs at my heart, and I think ... wow ... if only I could do it just one more time. (I usually come to my senses rather quickly, but the older I get the more often it tugs.)

pregnavygirl, you will hear this more times than you will be able to count, but omg, enjoy it as much as you can. It goes by so fast.

AquaticSub -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/13/2008 10:59:19 AM)

I could buy that motherhood is an honor, but no more so than fatherhood. We've been considering adoption for when the time comes so I guess it's clear I'm not very in love with the idea pregnancies. It would be nice but *shrug*

GreedyTop -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/13/2008 11:13:20 AM)

heh, AS...  Now that I feel like I'd be ok with having a kid, I'm rapidly approaching the time when the baby factory shuts down for good.. not to mention, I'm not sure I'd WANT to start from scratch at my age.. adoption is what I'm looking at (if it gets to that point)..and I'd choose an older child. Partly because I don't want to be in my 70s-80s when the child graduates from school, and partly because older children have so much trouble being adopted out.
