Ms C, enjoy the time of closeness with your subhub during your prenatal classes (I assume like here, they involve both of you). I hope he'll be there with you to cut the cord as I was for both of my UM's; both wee moments in time I'll cherish always and never forget. [:D]

Lady E, I hope you'll try to rejoice in the progress you've made toward your transformation. You're a butterfly learning to sprout your wings. I'm confident an intelligent women such as you will find some way to keep herself busy without undoing the delicate surgery you've just put yourself through. [&:]
As for me, I continue to struggle at times with the loss of my four legged friend Tabitha. Regardless of how busy I keep myself, when I come home at night, she's still not there to greet me and I've found that difficult to deal with. It's also represented a loss to the family she was part of along with me and my UM's. We took her remaining food and treats we had on hand, plus her toys to the local animal shelter last Saturday to donate them. [image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m23.gif[/image]
While there, we looked at the dogs they had to see if we could find a good fit for us, but didn't find one that was just quite right for us. I've decided it's time to start the search for a new 4 legged member to join the family, not a replacement for Tabitha, but a new and unique member that will join us to enrich our lives with it's love and vice versa. (warm smile)
I've been attending lots of local lifestyle functions this past month and making many new friends in the community. It's been quite an education to be exposed to different practices and styles of relationships that are new to me. I'm finding that most groups here are more M/s oriented than D/s, yet all are very friendly and I'm discovering they're making very good friends for me to have. [:D]
I'll also be attending my first major llifestyle event later this month called South Plains Leatherfest being held here in Dallas http://www.southplainsleatherfest.com/home.php during the weekend of Feb 22nd which I'm really looking forward to. Apparently I've met enough of the "right people" that I've been invited to one of the private parties behing held which will include at least one of the presenters after the classes and lectures are over for the day. I guess it pays to get out and get involved. [;)]
School is going well for me, keeping me quite busy and very interested in my new projects as I continue to learn the nuances of the software I'm working with! In one project, I'm working on a short animation of two lightbulbs that will be dancing a Tango together (I've named the characters Boris & Natasha in honor of Bullwinkle). I hope to make it hot and passionate, appropriate for the dance involved. [sm=lol.gif]
I'm also modeling in great detail the heads of two characters as part of two other projects. One is a Domme who is wearing a leather skullcap so I could pass her off as a "Dark Queen" to my instructor. LOL! The other is a cartoonish little imp with horns, a pig's nose and ears, large wide lips and the eyes of a cat. I'm constanty working at the computer or sketching either storyboards or character details, even when at the local dungeon for munches. But it's very rewarding and moving me quickly toward getting my business started doing exactly what I've wanted to for a number of years with exactly the software I've needed for it. [8D]
