ORIGINAL: pagansub77 Actually, in trucking, it is quite common to have Black Box data used against the operator. It's a system called Vorad, controls speed and follwing distance with warning beeps and engine braking. Just my .02 worth. ps77 That helps the drivers keep their trucks within the speed limit, and helps prevent accidents. If I were on the receiving end of an accident that wasn't my fault, I'd sure like for there to be some hard evidence in my favor. If I made an error and caused an accident, I'd be willing to take the consequences. The police report from my last accident was "unconclusive" because no one stayed around to tell the cops what happened. It would have been great to have one of those red-light cameras to prove that the other guy jumped the green light. It would also be great if everyone lived their lives in consonance with the Golden Rule (something anyone can do, Christian or not), but until that happens, somebody has to look out for those who can't do it for themselves (UMs, the elderly, disabled, etc.). If people aren't willing to speak up when speaking the truth can help someone else, who is going to do it?
