I wear a lcok on a chain. It was plain, but not it reads "Property of M". Can be taken tongue in cheek, but for those in the know, it makes a statement.

I miss being a teenager... I got away with all sorts of crazy shit back then. I'd wear a collar and a set of black leather wrist-cuffs out in public with my "bitch boots," lots of PVC/vinyl... of course I think most people chalked it up to me being another one of those darn fool goth kids, but for me it was my way of being out.

Never really had cause to closet myself over anything. My career aspirations have pretty much always centered around working in the morgue, where I've noticed that personal lives and contact with the living don't really come into play as much as they would in, say, a corporate position. Let's face it, the dead don't really care what you do in your off-hours.

Don't have much in the way of family, either. My mother and grandmother know pretty much all of my dirty little secrets and still love me. I figure family or not, anyone who would stop caring about another person over such a stupid reason as to what they do behind closed doors is probably of little value to me anyway. It just saves me money on postage when I'm mailing out Christmas cards every year.

Of course now that I'm older I've gotten more conservative, completely of my own accord. I'd love to have a special, unique piece of jewelry to wear... not necessarily of the BDSM symbol, either. I'm not sure what it'd be, though. Guess I'll just have to shop around or hit the drawing boards myself.

I'm not very subtle... I have a couple collars that I don't wear anymore hanging around my rearview mirror.

Just wondering.. I see a lot of black and blue striped stickers on the back of cars around here.. is that a leather pride thing? Or does it mean something totally different?

I have two t-shirt I wear all the time. One says 'Domina' on the back the other says 'I won't hurt you....MUCH' on the front.

Oh and the tag on my car says 'DOMINA' as well.

I like to initiate a little bit of verbal sparring and get more and more obvious in my Domlyness until I can toss in a little threat and see how they respond. Stuff like "Dammit, I left my ballgag in my other pants" or "You're so cute I'd like to tie you up and keep you in my closet!"

It's amazing how much of this shit I can get away with in totally Vanilla conversation. I am the queen of subtly unsubtle rhetoric ;)

On a more physical level, I've recently started wearing a pair of handcuff keys tied to the jade bracelet I always wear. I never meant to have them there, but I had a wardrobe malfunction at a club and needed a quick fastener so I stole the ring off my handcuff keys and tied the keys to my bracelet so I wouldn't lose them. I haven't gotten around to getting a new ring yet, so they are still on my bracelet. I think I'll leave them there. People ask about them all the time and often give me knowing smiles. That works for me!

I have a CR that I have my house and work keys on, I wear a handcuff key as a necklace, and I have both the BDSM logo on my car's back window, and a bumpersticker that says "Sex is only dirty if you doing it right." -Woody Allen. There's also a bumpersticker that says, "Weird Load."

I don't know that its getting away with it so much as people being less "vanilla" then we think. Just last week my mom told me I was tying up a clerk in the store.....then added that since I'd already "tied" him up we should take him home,hang him from the ceiling and use him for a week. Or like the other day at work, co worker was painting the base boards, and I said that if she were a man she'd be just where I liked them (on her knees). She responded "don't we all want our men on their knees". Then when I suggested rope and a paddle to correct a friend's husband, she got that twinkle in her eye and said, "Yeah, I'll just beat his a__". Plus, in Bible study and church when I've talked about Ds, I've gotten a line of women asking how to go about it. Sooooo, I don't know that we're being subtle...I just think its normal and people get it, they just aren't particularly shocked cause they're doing it too.

Absolutely!! I like to wear buttons that are obvious, like a girl kicking a guy in the balls. The HeadMistress I work for likes wearing t-shirts. She's got one that says "Never Underestimate The Power Of A Woman". She always gets compliments on it, even from guys.
