Are there any little hints, signs or symbols of your Femdom or D/s interest that you discretely leave in open view for the world to see? Something that doesn't obviously give away your interests, and could have an entirely vanilla meaning/interpretation, but to you, or someone in the scene, has a strong D/s connotation? I'm thinking of something like a stuffed animal wearing a studded leather collar, or a pair of earings that look suspiciously like handcuffs, etc. I remember a secretary in an office I used to work in had a picture of her husband on her desk in a black frame, and she had clothespins pinned around the frame. I never asked why, but it always made me wonder what the deal was with those clothespins .... Regards, ATP

I wear a bdsm symbol necklace, but have only had one other kinky person recognize and inquire about it. Last halloween one of my co-workers dressed up as a dominatrix and I was severely tempted to inquire if it was more than just a one day out of the year costume. For the same reasons, my curiosity is temptingly piqued whenever a man crossdresses for halloween.

Not sure how subtle it is but when i do receive marks i tend to wear shirts to show them off a bit .One time after a well fun dungeon night i have 25 cupping marks from a wonderful fire cupping session , a tank top was in the rotation so i wore it , the store , the mall , everywhere .Oddly enough most people ignored the multi octopus looking marks except for a few asking where they could have some medical cupping done . I worked hard acquiring some marks why not wear them with pride . Other than that i do have some of the S&M shirts with the MnM people in poses , and some rings , some other choice shirts too . I love the Shirt i got at Disney Land of all places after getting off the pirate ride , going through the gift shop , I just had to get the shirt . It reads "The beatings will continue until moral improves " i had to get the flag too for my office closet outside the door. Like i said maybe not too subtle .

I have a black T-shirt with the worlds "WE'RE NOT JUST VANILLA" written in big white letters on the back. I've just about worn it out so it's about time to go to the fea market and have another one made. I've gotten some questions about it when out at the local haunts..grin

Everyone I know knows I'm a Domme. I don't try to cover it up. I never wear anything but black. A lot of leather and boots. I wear the clothes I enjoy wearing. Some men react in very strange ways. Mostly very stupid ways which annoys me intensely. Some think I am going to play with them. Few have any understanding of a D/s relationship. I don't think they really believe that a woman could want to be in control of her relationships. Or should be allowed to be. Women are pretty cool about it in general. Or at least they are polite. The main problem is just to find a way for it not to be an issue. I'm a human being first, then a woman, then a feminist, then a left wing socialist, then a etc etc I could carry on infinitum. Being a Domme comes way down on the list. Some men I meet are great though. They call me Ma'am quite naturally and then we have a decent conversation about something interesting to us both. Some ask permission to kiss my hand which I usually give. It's just an expression of respect for the woman I am I think. It's no big deal. It doesn't mean they would consent to my sadistic desires lol. Or that I would want to be intimate or kinky with them. 'Lifestyle' submissive men could learn a lot from them about how to treat a woman though.

I have 3 metal claws that I use in sessions with my guys. I usually take them out to meet & greets and parties and wear them. People think they're cool and like it when I scratch their back with them. Some ask about them, some don't. Most of my lifestyle friends know I'm a Domme and are great with it. I do wear leather corsets out to parties and have recently been wearing my horsehair flogger on my belt. Subtle, maybe not, just my own way of expressing myself. [:)]

I guess the floggers hanging from the wall sconces in our room wouldn't be consider subtle? People don't notice those as much as they notice the chains on the four posts though. And occasionally we get asked about the eye bolts in the archway. I've never been very good at subtle. *Jewel*
