Yes, a bunch will be left out, so feel free to write in votes.

Hersheys Symphony-hard to find in regular size bars usually.

You left out Mars bar, which used to be my fave when I was a tot. If I'm in the mood for some seriously trashy chocolate, I'll shamelessly gnaw on some Cadbury's Dairy Milk, or the ultimate pleasure: a Cadbury's Flake.

Flakes are the best. But I can't find them here. Probably just as well.

Cute poll, Level.

Small bars are for wusses anyway:) I like the ones with the nuts and toffee chips in them.

I love any Dove bar...they just melt in your mouth..I would say almost orgasmic[;)]

Payday!  Love those salty peanuts with the sweet center.

KittinSol:  I know this will put a dent in the family budget but you can get Flake bars (and a ton of other Brit goodies) at www.ukgoods.com   There are also several stores in the Chicago area that import and sell Brit goods.

I remember a summer in Scotland where the treat of the day was a Flake Bar stuck down in a cup of soft serve ice cream, but I cannot remember what it was called!  Yummmmm.

Dove dark ....  Hershy's special if  all else fails  but then again I can eat chocolate one square at a time and keep a bar in the frezzer for a couple months

verysweet -> RE: Favorite candy bar? (2/10/2008 2:12:08 PM)

I voted for "hersheys", but my favorite candy (chocolate) are the cadbury mini eggs that come out around Easter.

Feric -> RE: Favorite candy bar? (2/10/2008 2:31:49 PM)

Too many choices left out of the running: Chunky, Fox's Glacier Mints, Rocky Road, Turkish Delight, Clark, Peppermint Cream, Fifth Avenue, Abba Zabba, Orange Cream, Big Hunk, Giggle-Head Candy Pops....to name a few.

ownedgirlie -> RE: Favorite candy bar? (2/10/2008 2:37:08 PM)

Voted for Snickers but love Heath Bars, too.

justdavid -> RE: Favorite candy bar? (2/10/2008 2:41:03 PM)

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are my favorites. M&M’s are responsible for many of my extra pounds.

When folks point out what has been left out, they do know you can only put 10 options in a poll, I hope? [:D]

Emperor, you are talking about a "99". It's one of these quintessential British treats... Spectacularly authentic when licked on the waterfront of a bustling seaside town (Brighton springs to mind. Nostalgia, nostalgia...).

I can’t believe you didn’t include the Wham bar.

The Wham bar is like a solid chunk of pink sugar that glues your teeth together as you try to eat it. Yep this is why a generation of Britons skipped having teeth.
