Like Julietsierra we don't do those things. Unlike her I'm encouraged to masturbate. Being in the last few months (I hope and pray) before menses finally cease, arousal is spotty so I'm supposed to use it and not lose it. He doesn't want to come home one day and discover I've started taking in stray cats.
Beyond that, I would feel as if I had control if I could win the game. Plus then I'd get competitive and competition messes with my mind, so if I won I would feel bad because winning would deprive him of his fun and if I lost then I'd feel bad because of the competition stuff. And if he set me up to fail? Really bad idea, that just screws me up emotionally.
Games we do play are minigolf in the warmer weather, gin rummy some nights. I've tried introducing him to mancala but he doesn't like it. I find just moving the stones around the board relaxing, something to do with the tactileness of having them in my hands.
