You already have so many wonderful replies, I could pick and chose parts of all of the answers.

I am in this for the power exchange. If you take out sex and money, you are only left with surrender of self, and that to me is the extreme payment. To have someone trust me so completely that they will surrender their well being to my control is a feeling that no amount of money will every purchase.
