I guess I bruise easily to and I've had my fair share. I always use ice for swelling and it constricts the capillaries. For you you could have a blood clotting deficiency if you notice it stays around for 3 or more weeks.

It's always been my policy that if another is going to nose into my own business by asking questions such as this; then they are going to get an honest answer. It is then up to them if they can handle it or not.
