I know I'm new and all, but I thought that it didn't matter if you looked. Lots of people have looked at mine. They didn't tell me why and it didn't bother me... I've looked back- just 'cus. Do you go immediately to see who they are and what they are like?  To figure out why they looked at you, or  whether they  might even be a “person of interest”?

It's always "okay" to look. And no, and no.

Or to preserve your cool,  do you  at all costs resist the urge to look at theirs?  And  instead try to satisfy your curiosity  based on the truncated half sentence that comes up when you roll over their name?

What if it’s obvious by those few words you read that it must have been something you wrote in a post, and nothing else? Does that make it easier to look ...or harder?

If you see by those few words that they are clearly not of your orientation do you feel rude,  nosey or uncomfortable about reading their whole profile?

(by the way, these questions were not provoked by anyone who may have looked at my profile within the last week. I've wondered about it for a while. And I will not look or even peek at your profile under any circumstances. Well, not at least for a week, until a sufficient period of time has gone by )
