Actually, when it comes to HHGTTG, I still think the single best version of the story was it's original incarnation: as a radio serial on the BBC home service. It's available on CD format, and MP3, if you look around. Highly recommended. It's 100X funnier, and more impressive when your own imagination is filling in the details!

That's how I first experienced it...as tapes of the radio play late 1978/early 79... a friend came back from touring clubs and festivals in the UK, and after the welcome back party wound down, he pulled out these cassettes... none of the other versions have been as good as my imagination.

In addition to the great ones already mentioned, unless I missed it throughout the thread here - Austin Powers??? How could we miss that one? Also a new addition to these might be the Simpsons Movie (which I admit, I enjoyed much more than I thought I would).

Bring it? Not sure, haven't seen all of it. I have to second Harold and Maude...should be nominated for most disturbing pseudo-love scene. Two I can't believe haven't been brought up are Super Troopers and Waiting! Oooh, and Euro Trip! And a classic...Addams Family and Addams Family 2!!
