I just finished watching "Sweet Home Alabama". Cheesy, silly movie... but there were a few scenes that got me weepy... Anyone else have those kind of movies?

Meet Joe Black...improbable and dramatic...but that last scene where Anthony Hopkins knows he is going to die...and he has one last dance with his daughter...and this amazing orchestra plays "What a Wonderful World"...and...it just pushes all the buttons...good for a weep every time.

dont u mean flesh gordon??? k..anything by adam sandler...is stupid...well..not stupid...but very bad...though funny...for instance...click...very bad...but funny. anything by jim carey...specially dumb n dumber...SCARY! but ace ventura was probably one and his only actual GOOD movie. zombie movies....all of them are stupid...but are funny....night of living dead, return of living dead...hilarious shit. there are tons of others.

Crying isnt really a criteria.. but something about it that made the movie one you'd watch again..ot at least not totally blow it off as something you'd watch it again..LOL (hey, some TV ads get me weepy..LOL)

I havent seen Clerks II.. but I LOVED Meet Joe Black (Sir Anthony ROCKS!). Oddly enough, that one with Kim Basinger - My Stepmother was an alien?? - was another. Save the Last Dance got me.. as did Drum Line.

I recently saw 27 Dresses with Katherine Heigl... I got teary eyed, and I think I laughed more at myself for crying than at the funny parts of the movie.

I just watched Memphis Belle yesterday. I try and catch it whenever it's on. Tear-jerker for me. Also Steel Magnolias, Driving Miss Daisy, Shawshank Redemption. Any of the Band of Brothers episodes and Saving Private Ryan. I guess there are quite a few! Oh, yes - Parenthood "He likes to butt things... with his head. ... Nathan: How proud you must be. lol!

Oh I am a B-movie fanatic. I love them. If Bruce Campbell is in it, it's worth watching over and over again. If it was made in the 80's, even better. I just watched 3 o' Clock High on the internet a while ago. Here is a short list, it's definitely not going to be a complete summary of my stupid movie favorites (not all are B-movies): Ice Pirates (space herpes!) Monster Squad (ewww Fat Kid farted!) The Last Starfighter Summer School Party Camp 3 o' Clock High (Nobody gets away from the Duker LOL) Warrior and the Sorceress (a woman with 4 breasts) Explorers Battle Beyond the Stars Meatballs Ernest Goes to Camp Ernest Goes to Jail Fast Food (another Jim Varney movie) Heathers Less than Zero (Robert Downey Jr. giving blowjobs to pay his dealer) The Last Dragon What's Eating Gilbert Grape? Mosquito Coast (I have it on DVD. I watch it once a month probably.) Can't Buy Me Love Animal House Blues Brothers Blade Runner (I want to ball when Rutger Hauer gives that monologue at the end) Blind Fury (Rutger Hauer as a blind ninja) The Hitcher (Rutger Hauer as a scary motherfucker) They Live (I am here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, but I am all out of bubblegum) I'd have to think of more. This is a great idea for a thread.

Movies that are so silly and idiotic that you can not help but like them? Oh, let me see lol. Baseketball…a cheesy comedy about two men who develop a new ‘american passtime’ by combining baseball and basketball. CRITTERS…need I say more Dude, Where’s my car….I mean …….COME ON…..so stupid you can’t help but like it Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas……One of the stupidest movies I have ever come across…but also one of the funniest…one that you can not help but watch each time it comes on Oh Brother Where Art Thou……..the chance to see George Clooney play an idiot is too good to pass up Just a few of my favorite idiot movies lol.

Slap Shot where Paul Newman re vitalised a failing Ice Hockey team by making them violent. Could have done without the bad language tho' It definately made me cry.....with laughter ! As I recall one player who wont go along with the changes takes his clothes off and skates naked around the rink.
