Well I don't sit here everyday and read the crap you guys argue about. Thats why people start new stuff. I do have a life outside collarme. Try being nasty to someone else. All I was doing was posting something.  All your posts seemed to be aimed at proving how right you are. Flame me. just proves my point. You don't offer anything important you just flame those that don't agree with you.

Owner59 -> RE: How the deomocrats surrendered the war. Agree or disagree? (2/17/2008 9:30:28 PM)

lol   Did I flame you?

Why are you so defensive?

TheHeretic -> RE: How the deomocrats surrendered the war. Agree or disagree? (2/17/2008 9:30:53 PM)

That's pretty much how it went on the other thread too, Sweet.

sweetnurseBBW -> RE: How the Democrats surrendered the war. Agree or disagree? (2/17/2008 9:32:31 PM)

I am posting something for a new opinion not something that was done. I want a new opinion. I know there was an article . I want a new discussion. Excuse me for wanting some new thinking.

It`s the same article, sweet, in both threads.

What`s the new angle or question?

TheHeretic -> RE: How the Democrats surrendered the war. Agree or disagree? (2/17/2008 9:40:55 PM)

The other thread is less than a week old, Sweet, and less than a page.  Give it a bump.  I thought it deserved better response than it got.

But I'm not going to repeat myself because you want a "fresh" opinion.

sweetnurseBBW -> RE: How the Democrats surrendered the war. Agree or disagree? (2/17/2008 9:43:08 PM)

Well in the other discussion everyone seemed to focus on "right winger conspiracy". Now do you really think the whole war is a conspiracy? Seems a bit far fetched to me.

I don't blame you. Thanks for your response.

"right winger conspiracy".

I don`t remember that,...I`ll have to re-read the thread.

Is it possible you read another thread?

There was certainly an effort to distract attention away from the admission that the whole anti-war pose of the '06 election was a lie.  These are awkward moments for flavor-ade drinkers.

The thread title is a bit over the top.Over half of America wants out of Iraq, did you expect warm loving responses?

What if I asked "How Fat people surrendered the war. Agree or disagree?"

Wouldn`t that also be a bit over the top?  Should I expect a respectful response?

It`s just one lefty`s opinion. Not fact or supported by facts.

That guy wants out of Afghanistan too.He doesn`t represent mainstream America or think for them either.

There`s not one item on the pages that isn`t debatable.

Here is one...the Iraq war is over and has been over for years. What we are doing there is making up for the abysmal arrogance and incompetance of the CPA (coalition provisional authority) that made us a whole lotta enemies and reduced Iraq back into tribalism. Now we had to convince the various 'tribes' it was not in their interest to collude with terrorists or the Taliban and we did...after 1000's more on both sides died.

We are just now with the surge doing what had to be done from the start...begin to change their political culture as that is the only way we were or anybody was going to instill a central government...governing at the consent of the governed. Now the central goverment needs in effect...is to be turned on itself (new police powers) to rid it of corruption and inaction.

Yes, we need to stay for a while longer but predominantly because of the utter incompetance and arrogance of this administration. Remember 'Bring them on...' and from the president of the US no less. What a hollow little cowboy that yes, should have been impeached right away. Trouble is, we then get Cheney and would need to convict them both to change anything.

I think people do things to make money. Some organize into groups and even into corporations. Lots of them make money on war.

Calling it a conspiracy is just a semantic game you want to play because the truth offends your blinkered political viewpoint.

Sad.

Gwynvyd -> RE: How the Democrats surrendered the war. Agree or disagree? (2/18/2008 12:37:24 AM)

any one who thinks it is an honest war, and we are over there because the ones who sent us had the purest of intentions are either seriously deluded, or have bought so much of the shit they have shoveled that they cant seem to dig themselves out.

and damn do they get testy when you start to tell them that the Emperor really isnt wearing any clothes.

Ol King George did a number on us... if he wasnt such a scary bastard with him and his buddies.... he would have been tossed out long ways back. The more "touchable" members of his cabinet bailed quickly when things started going down hill. They didnt want to be scape goats just in case. Hell after Libby got his Full pardon, and basic pat on the wrist  they had a total green light to do what ever the fuck they wanted.

Links and referances get posted constantly but it means nothing to those who want to cling to the idea that this admin can do no wrong.. so I wont bother.

Gwyn

The presentation of information to Congress and the general public through deceit, craft, trickery, dishonest means, and fraudulent representations, including lies, half-truths, material omissions, and statements made with reckless indifference to their truth or falsity, while knowing and intending that such fraudulent representations would influence Congress' decisions regarding authorization to use military force and funding for military action, constitutes interfering with, obstructing, impairing, and defeating a lawful government function of a department of the United States within the meaning of Section 371.

Dear Lord, O59, this from the guy who kills half his own threads with schadenfreude titles.  Funny how you accuse me of whining, when you are the one not only so horribly taken by the lie, but lining up for the new, improved '08 kool-aid.

"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!"
