Medical research. How low iron affects your body. Also how you get low iron aside from your specific diet. A friend of mine is having an issue. I've always been an oddball as I've alreadys read some sort of textbook. Peoples fantasies have never interested me much. Magazines are about as close to I come to what most people read. If I'm engrossed I can read a magazine cover to cover in 20 minutes. So, yeah I'm an oddball.

Not much on reading books I do alot of research on things I am interested in or things Master desires I learn or things that he wants me to accomplish so it could be anything from starting peppers from seeds to female ejacualtion

ooh.. James Patterson too... the Women's murder club books, Alex Cross, and Maximum Ride books always hold me spellbound... Katy.. I havent read it yet, but it's on my list of books to get when the library reopens.. :) Baldacci is another author I enjoy. and.. (guilty pleasure, here) Catherine Coulter historical romances... although.. in defense.. she has a degree in early 19th century European history.., lol

It was announced on his website a couple of months ago. I tend to keep up to date with industry news where I can. He's in early stages and remains hopeful, they believe some mini strokes were the starting point of this.

I am (re)reading the Earth's Children series by Jane Aule. Thats for pleasure. For more scholarly pursuits, I am doing research on the Burning Times

The Earths Children series is one I enjoyed, in fact book two, Valley of Horses, got me in a lot of trouble at school...

This wasn't recently.. but I do love Orson Scott Card.. Alvin Maker, Ender.. all books I have read and re-read umpteen times... I've read almost all his other stuff too (although the Biblical women books kinda lost me).

Recently: World War Z by Max Brooks (son of Mel); Shooting War, a graphic novel by Anthony Lappe and Dan Goldman; Against the Machine by Lee Siegel, which takes a potentially great topic (the pervasiveness of an extremely shallow "culture" as the major result of the internet), and applies vague and generalized analyses based on his observations to reach conclusions that are...um...shallow; Ghost Wars (again!) by Steve Coll...anything but shallow; and, right now, Scorpion Down by Ed Offley, about the destruction of an American nuclear attack submarine, possibly by the Soviet Union as a response to the sinking (possibly accidental) of one of their missile subs within striking range of Hawaii. It's nonfiction. Bob

I did recently read a book about Blackwater USA (cant recall the title). It was interesting..seemed fairly unbiased. (oddly enough, at the hotel where I work, we have a couple of Blackwater people coming in soon....). When I get to work tonight I can check the title and will post it.

Oooh, nice question Greedy and I've been avidly looking up some of the book titles mentioned here. I recently read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, which I highly recommend. While I'm not religious I do have a 'thing' for books that have an historical/theological basis, so also recommend David Hewson's 'Rome' series which centres on crime within Vatican City. I'm about to start reading The Alexandria Link by Steve Berry.

On my multiple re-read list would be Karen Marie Moning's Paranormal/TT series - very well researched - she even lists some of her research books at the back of a couple of her novels. Christine Feehan's Mind and Drake series, though I also read her Dark series JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series Angela Knight Master's series
