Oh there are so many! LA Banks, Kelley Armstrong, Anne Bishop has an interesting series called Ephemera that is more fantasy like, but very sexual.
I've got scads of those paranormal romance novels. You can even pick them up at Walmart for like $5. Anything with "Dark" or "Fantasy" or "Dark Fantasy" in the title is probably some good smut.

Laurell Hamiliton is awesome...I have finished her series..I think...Im not sure...I think I lack one in the farie series...

At the moment I am reading Princess Spider...which is about a Pro Domme...and VERY good...

I am also reading the story of O...but it is sooo not holding My attention at all.

I have a stack of nilla books waiting as well as D/s related books that My girl brought Me from her collection to read....the Anne Rice series is waiting patiently to be read for the 100th time...

And of course Tsun Tsu's art of War.

Yum.

Speaking of Anne Rice - did anyone read her Witches series?  I have The Witching Hour but haven't picked it up yet - is it worth the investment of time?

You're welcome, bbwbutterfly!

We've read almost all of the Anita Blake series, but I don't much go for the other one, the fairy series.

Otherwise, I've been reading online books

http://www.pagebypagebooks.com/  and

http://www.gutenberg.org/catalog/\

And I am ashamed to admit I'm in the middle of a Sax Rohmer, 1930s pulp fiction, no redeeming social value.

I just finished Duma Key by Stephen King.....loved it!  Also found his book Blaze in paperback......good one too!

I love to read...usually 2 or 3 books at a time...and I'll re-read everything I have at least twice or more...I've worn out copies of "The Stand", "The Shining" and a few other Stephen King novels.....still haven't figured out "Dreamcatcher"...and I've read that one about 12 times!  I'll read pretty much anything but autobiographies.....not too big on the whole "Hail to me!" thing.

GT - I read Pillars of the Earth a while back - loved it.  If you like that one you might also like Lie Down with Lions also by Follet.

One book I thought was somewhat interesting was Virgin by James Patterson - interesting premise (and well before the DaVinci Code fever) about the Catholic church investigating two different pregnant teenagers, both acknowledged as virgins.  In the plot one of the secrets revealed of the Miracle of Fatima was a prophecy involving both of these girls.

~Fast Reply~

I love books too, and I love organizing them every so often based on size, genre and title. Yeaahhhh, I am the epitome of geekiness.

All I have time to read these days are textbooks but I have a hopeful copy of "Kalooki Nights" on the bedside table, just waiting for spring break. Other than that, I loved "I am Asher Lev", "When She Was Good", anything by Steinbeck, a few by John Irving, and most 20th century classics. I will never ever forget the insane joy in reading "To Kill a Mockingbird." I like Sylvia Plath, some Mark Twain, TR Pearson ... Ray Bradbury, HG Wells, and my guilty pleasure is Stephen King. He isn't the best writer but he has a terrific vivid (twisted) imagination.

Ron, what about "Where the Wild Things Are." Wasn't that one of the greatest books ever written? Man, gotta love that one.

when I was a kid, I was given a bunch of books that had been my Mom's.  One of those was called Merrylegs, about a rocking horse that eventually became a real one (a la Velveteen Rabbit..another favorite of mine).
I have no idea what ever happened to that book.. would LOVE to find another copy.. it had beautiful illustrations, too... *sigh*

I've read a few good ones recently. At the top of the list has to be God is Not Great by Christopher Hitchens.

Others include:
The Mysteries of Pittsburgh by Michael Chabon. He also wrote the Pulitzer Prize winning The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay

currently reading The Road by Cormac McCarthy - also a Pulitzer winner
