You are quite welcome... the re-enactment SCA as a 'dress up and play with implements for hitting' group has quite a bit of crossover with the BDSM etc. lifestyle, while the SCA that I referenced has more to do with the fetish side of things.

Likewise, there is a fetish for cuckolding, as well as the cultural label applied to anyone with an unfaithful wife.

It should be noted that the SCA focuses on the Mediaeval period and the times immediately surrounding it. This is important because it is quite seperate from other re-enactment socities like the Civil War ones and such.

A cuckold (or cuck) referred to a married man with a sexually unfaithful wife. In current usage it refers to non-married couples as well, although the common and traditional meaning was a man who was a victim of his wife's adultery.

Hence the cunning use of the word "usually", but you are correct that marriage nor gender are required. However the amount of Female cuckholders is, at least in my experience much less common than the male variety.
