I was having a talk with a CM memeber while we were gaming and I'd like to share it with you.

I play on the proudmoore server with the largest glbt guild on the planet(700ish members) over multiple guilds. I play a hunter, probably the easiest class to solo with. Ponyts. I'm on way to often since there is virtually NO scene local to me.

ok, finally rolled on the ghostlands ally side- name of SnM- original eh? I know I'm a little later than most of you but got into real life issues for a couple weeks, lol. should be up to the same lvl in no time though

Just a li'l update for those still wondering what to roll -- we're currently full on hunters/paladins over here on Cairne. Shamans, druids, priests, and warriors would make us very happy! So far we've passed that 80 mark and hit 100 as of last night. Amazing!

Soloing in WoW vs. Soloing in FFXI is the difference between trying to kill a bear with a rocket launcher, and trying to kill a bear with a toothpick.

Not only is it doable in WoW, it is actually quite easy.

I have a 70 human paladin on Shadow Council (RP Server), but I don't play that much as it stands; combination of work and life keeping me out of the game. Still, if anyone is on SC, drop me a line.

Have you tried HellGate? Now THAT is a game it's easy to solo on, and usually, the Chat-1 chatter is about politics, kinks, whatever they feel like!
I don't know why, but I really never got into WOW that much...Although I will admit, soloing is a grind, but it's easier than FFXI...Or EQ 1 OR 2!
Most MMOs missed the point with EQ's success: It's not because it was brutally difficult, it's because it was the first REAL graphical MUD, and players who had played for years and invested too much in it to leave stayed...The rest of us moved on to greener pastures.
That said, have any of you tried Lord Of The Rings Online? LOTRO is WOW with better graphics and the serial-numbers filed off
Or PSO, Daimonin, Zero, Conquest Online, Trickster Online, Dungeon Runners...Did I leave any out?

Cairne's House of Whacks has been open over a month and going well! YAY!!!!

With that new patch Blizz put out, people hazve been bouncing back and forth between playing the new content and leveling the baby toons. ;)

Our vent is now privately owned by us. Couldn't deal with the free vent and the owner moving people around with out their permission.

The guild will be working on another recruitment blitz soon.   After all. We need more BARDS in the guild.

And remember there will be a warm little space set aside for you!

Psh, as soon as I hit Revered with Shattered Sun Offensive, I'm probably coming back. I just want my Jewelcrafting recipes... there's so damn many of them!

In the meantime I've learned that Magister's Terrace really wants a paladin tank + druid healer and that pisses me off that Blizz would put in an instance that's so specific about what's needed for success. The pull before Kael'Thas is probably the hardest one in the instance, even harder than most of the boss fights, and then Kael himself is a joke. Doc soloed him on his warlock down from 30% with no problem after the rest of the group wiped. I think some fine-tuning is necessary.
