What appeals to you? Does it matter if your Sub/Slave is Unattractive? And they dont like the look of the body. Do you go for looks?

I have been with women across the spectrum from 'plain jane to eye candy' but useing the old clique (french was never a strong point) if the mind doesn't appeal to me then it doesn't matter how they look. But then if it does appeal to me that is the first and biggest step. I would be a liar if I said looks weren't important though. I have to be attracted physically to them too. But then beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

"Attractive" is an important ingredient to me, definitely. But remember that "attractive" is also the most misused word for describing another. For me, it means to attract and has got nothing to do with just her physical attributes - or lack of.

How *my* slave looks, grooms and generally presents herself also matters a great deal but again it's got nothing to do with her natural physical characteristics. Like most single men my age, I've dated women of diverse shapes and sizes even though I admit I do have certain preferences on physical shape and build.... But fem/subs are hard enough to find without getting that specific!

I like the middle ground on most things.... She doesn't have to look like a swim-suit model but I'll expect her to look after herself body-wise. She doesn't have to be a natural redhead (another preference) but she'd better like having long hair. She can wear what she likes when I'm not there but she wears what I like when I am. But I won't expect her to have anything invasive done such as implants or tattoos etc. And I will make her get rid of any body piercings!

What appeals to me most is tall, dark and handsome, the dark flowy hair, the light eyes, anglo-saxon features- think Aragorn.

None of my partners have ever looked like that.

Of all my current partners, only one would make a model (though he would make an exquisite one). However, looks/clothes ARE important to me and can be a factor in my relationships.

If it's a sub/slave and you get involved with them, it's no big deal, you can just train and modify them to look the way you want if you think it's worth the effort.

I always think of "Anglo-Saxon" as something like Prince Charles.

You and I are of similar opinions and tastes, it seems. Except that I would call Aragorn's features more Scandinavian. Well hell...Viggo Mortensen IS Danish.

My ideal is definitely the tall man with Scandinavian features (those cheekbones and blue eyes!), dark thick hair, lean physique.

But...my Master is 5'7 with bleached blonde hair and very "North American" soup mix facial features. He is a very handsome man, but never what I would consider my ideal.

Personality has EVERYTHING to do with it. I'd say if I ever met the Aragorn man with the perfect dominant personality and right mix of interests in-common with me, I'd be in heaven and get married on the spot.

This is why it's so much more fun to have a stable. You don't have to settle on a single "ideal."

Edited to add: I guess I should have made that a LROD post, but logging out and logging back in is a big hassle for a two-line comment.

I have yet to have a Sub that met all my requirements for 'visually appealing' (that would be Raquel Welch or equal). I still think the three most imprtant factors for my Subs are: attitude, Attitude and ATTITUDE. I've had very pretty ladies that just didn't click for me and then there's the lady I'm with now. She's not a beauty by any means but she can really turn me on and she knows how to please me. She WANTS to please me. To me that's a lot more important than just looks.

For a man for me to submit to, ofcourse i have preferances as to looks, i would preferer a tall dark haried man, whit intence eyes, a thin wiery body and a taste for dramatic clothing. heck i would ahve wanted Dracula, but even if i would prefer such and such look, it is not that inportant.

i think as far as looks go the only thing that i can't get past is hair length, just not attracted physically to men with long hair, and bad hygiene. i prefer tall men but that isn't a steadfast rule. i prefer men with dark hair but that too isn't a steadfast rule. i think we all have things we prefer...thin lips, full lips, skinny, fuller figured, tall, short, big boobs, small boobs, bootylicious, flat assed...but one thing i've noticed is that most things can be looked past although most of us have at least one thing that we can't get passed. One thing about me that i've noticed is that i have never been in a ltr with a man who didn't have a mustache but it's never been anything i've consciously looked for and i have been attracted to many men who didn't have them, but somehow i always end up with a man with one lol.

Physical attraction is very important. I don't care if people find that thought shallow. I want to have that "Whoa!" feeling when I see him.

i think we will all agree that you have to find your partner attractive. But what you find attractive can differ from person to person. Some find big breasts attractive, others find small breasts attractive..etc. I happen to find long hair on men really sexy. Provided it is kept up with and kept clean. But, and i have said this in a previous thread before, i also find that someones attractiveness grows deeper the more emotionaly connected i am with them. I have been with men that were not drop dead gorgeous, but they sure made me go weak in the knees. I found them attractive, and thats all that matters.
