Well, yes, but there is Anglo-Saxon blood in him. And he doesn't look very Greek or German to me. Of course, these things are subjective. But it seemed a little silly to me to call Viggo Mortensen "Anglo-Saxon."

It's the whole Arragorn thing I think, not so much Viggo...

Does a persons appearence matter? Not so much the looks but the appearence. That includes dress - put Viggo in jeans and a t shirt and cut His hair, He would lose half the audience he captivated and gain the same amount of a different section -

Vs.

Vs.

Each image gets a few of the same person liking them all - but for each image, there will also be a different section of women.

Any person, from Liv Tyler to angelina jolie... or me! Gets different attention for how one looks a that moment. So no, looks are not important but image is.

Peace and Love

Fury

My sub is similarly non-anglo, Fury... and 100% yummy. I don't apologise for my shallow side. I want the entire package, beauty... brains...total devotion and abject obedience... lol. I'd be willing to work with both Viggo and Adrian Paul though.

i think as far as looks go the only thing that i can't get past is hair length, just not attracted physically to men with long hair, and bad hygiene.

Okay, this just has to be said...Men, most women value hygiene above looks. Wash your hair, brush your teeth, do laundry. I couldn't give a damn about muscles or cheekbones...the person i am going to be intimate with HAS to smell clean, look clean and feel clean.

I'm amazed at how many men don't seem to understand that this IS a huge deal with women. So many of them slap a hat over unwashed hair, wear socks that are a few days old and think it isn't manly to take care of themselves.

I'm not talking about hair gel, cologne, or anything like that. Just shower a few times a week, brush your teeth twice a day, and buy enough socks and underwear so that you can wear clean ones everyday...PLEASE??????

Physical attraction is very important. I don't care if people find that thought shallow. I want to have that "Whoa!" feeling when I see him.

My present boyfreind (and dom) gives me that feeling...constantly. He would not consider himself a handsome man but I melt when I look at him. I think it's the way he looks at me, with those bedroom eyes, and the way he treats me.

As was stated earlier in this post...attractiveness is not actually about looks it actually refers to someone who draws you like a magnet.

Someone might not turn heads in the street but when you see them you feel as though someone has their hands around your throat and you've forgotten how to breathe.

I hope most people picture other men when they think Anglo because that man is just about the least sexy man on the planet in my opinion. M

darl~angel, thanks for posting the pictures. I didn't know the reference earlier, until your pictures were posted. Yum!

I vote for picture #1, but me thinks I'd enjoy HIM in any look!

As for image being more important than appearance...I guess I can see that due to our differing perceptions, but while physical attraction is based on appearance, and what I may get out it, I still think it wouldn't matter a bit, without the warm heart and caring personality.

I worked with man, a few years ago, that was one of the most unattractive men that I ever laid eyes on. He wasn't scary, but was...well, I'll say it...ugly, when I first met him. When I got to know him....I have to say that I NEVER met a MORE attractive man...ever! I was happy to have such a wonderful man in my life then, and I'm sorry we lost touch, but he had one of the seriously jealous wives that didn't understand that men could actually have female friends.

Know what you mean about inner beauty. One of the kindest most selfless men I've ever met had his face literally burned off in a fire where he was protecting others. I heard about this person for months & when he returned to work actually met him in person. While his initial impression was shocking, this man's spirit soared & he made you feel so comfortable & like an old friend from the first time you meet. Sometimes it really is all about what you have inside.

Well, the Saxons came from Germany. And, by some strange coincidence, so did the Angles. Around 400 A.D.

Hmm... looks... well they matter... as in I need to feel physically dominated for anything to work. I can't manage to submit to a man smaller or shorter than me. My Master is a full head and then some taller than me, and has picked me up and put me where he wants me on more than one occassion. And I am NOT small, nor weak. At 5'8" I played forward for a mens rugby team, outweighing and out strengthing most of the guys... and Master controls me just fine even when I'm not beign co-operative. That's it tho... the rest... well, I can take it or leave it, really. Ink is nice... but... yeah... *sigh* that's all...

You don’t have to be a genius to figure out the large sums of money spent on the high flyers on presentation and image. So what if we don’t have a corporate budget to spend, You can still work out what are your best assets and how much you figure they need to be emphasised, and what sort of image you want to present. Better it be that you keep it natural so it enhances your natural personality. I’m not talking about a make over here just some common sense. As we get older we change and thus our image changes. I used to look reasonably good when younger but as I aged and added more battle scares etc to my face, I fouled that like Charles Bronson, the rugged look is very attractive to some people. Those who didn’t go for that look, and could get past the initial appearances and went for personality were great too. I dress how it pleases me and usually to fit the occasion. Basically my image doesn’t change only what it is dressed in changes. I do agree that personal hygiene is vital as is good basic grooming. If someone buys the package its good, if they run and hide shit scared, my only comment is “Next!”

Basically I dress to suit me no one else. I do not set out to please or impress anyone on this earth. I do what is appropriate business wise but shaving my beard etc or cutting my hair to a conventional length and style is a no go zone. I work on the total package being honest and the real me.

Uh huh. Germany didn't exist in 400 A.D., and Viggo Mortensen isn't German. (He was born in New York, actually.) What are you trying to prove?

looks for me is as equally important to me as intelligence and character. Besides, people have their own thoughts on what is appealing... so what attracts me may not necessarily attract another. I was lucky enough to have been approached and eventually claimed by an extremely handsome man. I know what attracts him mirrors what attracts me... and when he gets me a sister sub, I'm sure she'll be amazing!

Germany wasn't a nation-state in 400 A.D. but it was a geo-political region containing tribes now called 'germanic', of which the Angles and Saxons were elements. The reply was to a reference to Prince Charles, not Vigo. What are you trying to prove?

If she can smile and mean it, she's attractive to me. If she can't, then it wont matter if she's got an awesome body and model perfect face...
