I was active until I began to see more politics and drama than support and education. -shrugs- So I crept back to the safety and sanity (relative, I know) of my own. I do still enjoy some of the larger events, but no more group meetings and Saturday night dungeon parties for me.

i enjoy going to play parties both to play with friends i trust, and for the socialization. i used to keep to myself and was far more shy before i started attending, it seems to have helped bring me out of my shell.

There are two munches I attend reguarly here, one I have been going to for about two years, the other for as long as its been around, about a year. I also make it out to one in Lexington when gas prices permit. I enjoy getting to see friends that I dont often get to see, topical discusions and the chance to be around people that I feel at home around. I attend classes, events and parties when I can.

i might eventually go to a munch if i could find where and if they are held in my area. i'm so shy at first though, it would be really hard for me to attend one by myself.

Nope. The only nearest ones seem to be up in or around Los Angeles, which is probably about a good hour or two (depending on traffic) from me. And to second Christine1's sentiment, i'd be too shy to attend one on my own the first time.

WE belong to several local groups and for many years own our own..called smack..southern mountaineers adhering consensual kink..Winter and my ankel injury sure has slow our attendence down but will get back in the swing of thing this spring....we do attend several national leather events every year and enjoy meeting folks some even from collarme..bh
