In this crazy Online world and in the measure of meeting each other in a somewhat safe setting like a local munch . I was curious if with all the fetish balls , Cons , leather events ,bdsm gatherings ,etc is there or has there been any planned lunches or collar me get together s ?I was thinking for example for Thunder some kind of meet n greet at a lunch break would be fun . So who would you love to meet ? Does this idea appeal to anyone ? not try'n to be creepy just try'n to be more community i guess [:)] If not thunder maybe you can post the event your going to be at and set up your own meet n greet lunch ? thanks

I love meeting people from sites like this..(smooch Gwyn!!) I havent heard of anything from CM, but (if by some miracle some kind of gathering in CFL happened) I'd SO be there! :) (provided it was on a Saturday/.// my day off)

I have met a few people at one fetsh night off here that I didnt know but had seen their profiles and said hi. And when I joined CM I searched for people nearby who were also seeking friendship and hav met a lovely couple. The other faces I've put to names off here were during a search for my maid last year and werent so good lol.

I've gone to several bondage.com get-togethers. They weren't put set up by the site -- a bunch of us members decided to start threads about it and make it happen. All the ones I attended have been extremely fun and (mostly) normal.

Online is just a way to communicate - it isn't a substitute for meeting in physical space. At least in my opinion. I'd much rather sit down and have a beer with someone, or dinner, or go to an event or meeting or anything of that "social" stuff than just talk to lifeless letters on a screen. It's fine to start with, but sooner or later everyone needs to get out of mom's basement :)

I have met a handful of people from this site in person. Two of them have stayed overnight in our home. One of them sang at my wedding. Ive never been to any sort of fetish-related social activity, but it sounds like a wonderful opportunity to meet up with people you enjoy online.

Thank to those who have posted thus far ,honey girl thats what i am talking about , say if your going to be at an event , post it and say anyone attending lets all get together for a snack and meet n greet , singing KumBiYaah is optional lol .TR> i don't even have a basement , ask my mom dad or the dogs .Your right though and that too was motivation to post this topic .In case others wanted to do a meet n greet in a safe location and safe territory too . Well i just thought this may bring some together somehow someway , or maybe spark some sort of outreach spontaneous munch or meeting .Expanding our community and getting out and meeting one another was my only goal , so if two new people meet from this i have done my job [:D] Enjoy ...

~Fast Reply~ I haven't heard of any CM-specific event, but I've met some people off this site. All have been delightful and I hope to meet more in the future. I don't know if I would attend a CM event, but I would definately be up for that CM girls spa trip of us keep joking about. [:)]

W/we mostly meet those from alt as it operates more locally and within the UK

OK once again not saying it is a CM sponsored gathering or event ,it does not have to be .We sometimes run in the same circles us kinky pervies do .Now say your at A fetish ball , or A event like Thunder in the mountains , South plains leather , Shabari Con ,Skin Two rubber ball etc etc .Say your coming into town and ask where the local munch is that type of meeting . In no way am i saying hey collar me step up and promote or put on an event somewhere in this planet we are all on . Sure that could be a cool deal very highly doubtful CM would start hosting events . I know i would LOVE to do a UK tour Germany -Scotland , Ireland -London -Amsterdam -etc etc then to NZ and Aussie land ,japan ,go all over .Come on lotto money ... I've met several people from this site and actually put a lot more than a 'face to the name'. There's a ton more people I'd like to meet from this site, some as friends, some as godknowswhat. Eventually I'm sure I'll catch up with some of them. I'm sure you can make some friends in your area and organize a get-together for lunch or something casual, if you don't like those bdsm affairs etc. There's a lot of people around here who would probably be into something like that.

I know CM was a sponser of Kinky Kollege last November in Chicago. If they do it again this year, maybe a CM-sponsored social hour might be warranted at that event :) Bring your ID name to get admittance :)

The people from Mich who are on CM usually try to get together at events or muchies. I have met with a lot of them plus ones form Canada. The ones on here who say they have trouble meeting someone need to get off of their ass. There are lot's of great people out there. If they can't come to you go to them.
