I have no tolerance for spelling errors if it appears in an advertisement or profile. If you expect someone to RESPECT you, I think you need to set an example. If your best effort is sloppy, than I doubt I would ever trust you to guide me. Now, an occasional typo is to be expected, but I can certainly say I would never be interested in "a dominate".

I can see most of your points that you've made so far but it seems to me that some are pointing out that those who are posting profiles are calling themselves Dommes or Doms and yet really aren't. But I see the opposite is also true that those who are professing to be subs or slaves are really not wanting that. They want to tell you that they really don't have time to do real time or they don't have time to do simple homework or projects. Yes, they have been given simple tasks w/ plenty of time given to them based on their profession and work schedules. Yet they don't want to do any work but want sex as a reward during play. I also have met plenty of those who are just into BDSM for the sex (not my idea of what this lifestyle is all about). Just my 2 cents worth ... Ms Leather N Pearls

The 'I'm a dominate' thing drives me batty. I could make some good extra $$ editing profiles online. lol It's just a pet peeve, and I don't judge someone based on one or two errors, but I also wouldn't write to someone with tons of mistakes on his profile.
