I like the whole natural movement idea when it comes to feminine products.. I dont like shoving any thing that has been chemicaly treated up the Punanni... I found this website a while back.. and instantly loved it. They also sell the Luna Cup if any one is interested. http://www.lunapads.com/default.aspx I am going to break down and buy one I think. 'Bout time we demystified periods anyway. It's still considered a 'curse', a 'nuisance', a 'shame' and a cause of embarrassment, for women or men, in so many places. A taboo. Let's get over the superstitions (this is for the guys who went 'Ewww' and 'Glad I'm not a woman because of periods' bollocks). I'm happy that my body has an internal clock; I never saw menstruation as a cause to regret having been born a woman. I'm glad a thread like this is posted. More, please.

Many mammals that go in heat every 6 or 12 months have a different way of ovulating. Take cats, for example: they go in heat, and after a female cat mates with a male, only then do they produce an egg. Female cats can mate several times, and produce several eggs per heat cycle. This raises the chances of the female cat becoming pregnant. Humans produce only one egg per cycle, and thus the cycle has to repeat itself every month to raise the chances of offspring being produced.

Emp1956-- perfect regroup and advice.. yes--OP go to the doctor and get things checked out just for peace of mind. I started to use the Diva Cup during my 17 days as a stripper as that was the "thing" it is touch strange to get use to....but then very practical and not bothersome at all. I suggest you experiment with sizes of tampons and changing times. I am not a fan of the chemical bleaching and all, but on days that I must be out and about in a white get up.. must use the tampons.. other days free flowing is my preference---- lucky to work at home so most days are slow drips.. and with this comes that animalistic arousal--"those days I find myself actually out of control with desire and arousal"..
