I hate pretentious assholes that say they can spot a submissive by looking into their eyes. I always just went on lots of dates, somewhere on the first date I'd tell them I'm into BDSM and see where it goes. It's easier going to a munch and finding a woman there.

a few years ago i bought a bdsm symbol pendant and wore it around my neck, it was an identity thing that i wanted to wear for me. i figured that people generally wouldnt know what it was and for those who would know, it wouldnt matter, i was in a D/s relationship, so it wasnt for search purposes. anyhoo it was rarely noticed, once or twice by strangers who exchanged a glance, smile, wink. but i stopped wearing it when one of my clients noticed it, looked me straight in the eye and i just went to mush. after that day it came off and ive since lost it. so id go with the pendant.

I can sympathize with the OP. I too dislike S/M bars and to extent I'm not that fond of munches either. Maybe it's just the ones I've been to, but they're always decades older and don't make much of an effort to make you feel included. So I've been trying to find a way to find submissives in vanilla life too. I don't think there is a real way to spot a submissive from their look or demeanor. You'd have to talk with a person, drop hints, see how they respond to the hints, etc. But I'm not too great with that either! I try to joke, say stuff along the lines of "you're awesome, I should kidnap you".

You need: one pair of leather jeans a belt with rings on it 2 riding crops 3 floggers 2 pairs of handcuffs 30 yards of hemp rope nipple clamps ankle cuffs wrist cuffs a metal cage a goatee beard (optional) three headscarves a long plastic thing with bits hanging off it KY Jelly 1. Put on leather trousers. 2. Put on belt. 3. Attach as many items to the belt as you can* 4. Whatever cannot be attached to the belt can be kept in the cage. 5. Leave house. * - please do not attach cage to belt as this tends to cause hernias and will cause you to have to wear a jockstrap permanently. WARNING!! Beware of dogs as riding crops and floggers swinging from your belt may cause some dogs to bark at you and even try to bite you.

~FR~ Meeting me out in a public place. Even if i did admit i was into BDSM, I'd bet my orientation would be guessed wrong 80% of the time. Playing games such as "pin the lable on the submissive" in public venues is rarely, if ever going to work IMO

I've been a DOM for a very long time and I can't pick out a sub in a public place like a mall. I wish I could. I'd like to hear your DOM friends that can do this explain how.

This a very funny topic, since i have an inate problem with assuming things. Generally speaking most law-enforcement individuals wear handcuffs on their tie. i have some hanging on my cellphone for a bling effect. Nothing special just cutesy. ( PINK) Now at Christmas i was shopping at the mall and i was standing at a jewelery counter when a couple walked up and was looking at a beautiful necklece, it could be worn for several different reasons but by the way she was looking at Him and mentioned that this would be acceptable at work and with his permission to wear it instead of the other. I just looked over slightly and smiled to myself. Thinking maybe that could be me standing there someday with Daddy sharing the same experience. I have met all my girlfriends on vanilla dating sites. First I find someone who is intellectually compatible and emotionally healthy. Then, as we get more intimate, I tell her my preferences. Some women are receptive, others not. So far (since my divorce), it's been 3 yes, 2 no. But I'm probably too flexible to be a twue dom.

well another thing is that i depends on how comfortable a person is with their lifestyle choice. Many people feel that speaking about lifestyle things in general public is just taboo. I live in the Bible belt and am pretty open about my lifestyle choice, of course I am not running and shouting it out at the same time. It's all a matter of the right timing, right place, and right way of approaching a situation.. I've known people who have worn lifestyle friendly shirts.. shirts with a BDSM emblem on them or something of that nature. My Dominant has a few shirts.. one pirate one that says something about let the beating continue, he has another shirt that says "im not staring at you I'm studying my prey" it's the little thing that vanilla people wouldnt notice but lifestyle people would silently snicker to themselves..
