I love chains as anchors to my bondage. They seem stronger and more secure than multitudes of leather straps. I will use thick leather cuffs locked onto wrists and ankles, and metal chain dog collars to connect things together. These dog collars can be bought for a buck each at any Dollar store. A padlock in the D-ring at the front of my collar passed through the centermost link of a dog collar and locked leaves two chains hanging from my neck to just about my waist with a nice metal ring at the end of each. Lock a wrist cuff to each ring and my hands are quite limited in their movement. Pass both chains through a padlock hanging from the D-ring at the front of my bondage belt and lock, to further restrict movement of my hands. Another dog collar connecting my ankles, with yet another passing under the ankle chain with both ends locked to my CBT harness, and I take very careful steps from that point on to prevent yanking on that chain. After all are locked in place, a chain locking me to a stationary floor-to-ceiling post in the middle of the room prevents free movement around the house (or release of any of the other chains or other locks, if the keys are placed out of reach) until whatever release mechanism has been engineered releases. Many variations come to mind. Yes, chains can be very useful indeed.
