I had the opportunity to be one of the presenters at our local bdsm club, APEX, here in Phoenix, and our topic was about Prepping to Cleanup of a Scene. There are alot more questions to ask your partner(s) then just what is in a checklist. Please understand, I am only pertaining to before/after a scene type questions. The other questions that should be asked of another or of yourself has been described by others and on the threads that you checked out.
Questions to be asked of yourself and/or your partner prior to a Scene.
***Some of them might be incredibly obvious, but guess what, what you prefer and what your partner prefers, could be totally different.****
Shower?
Shave?
Perfumes?
Lotions? (a bdsm blooper of mine...lotioned up body...later after being tied to the bench and I got sweaty...I was slipping off that darn thing like crazy..couldn't hold still even though I was tied to the bugger!)
Jewelry?
Enema? (if your not into scat or a messy cleanup for yourself or partner...I suggest research and experimenting - plus your partner might totally dig assisting you - enema play can and is quite stimulating)
Diet? (if there is going to be anal play, is a diet change required?)
Food? (Are you going to eat prior? onsite? after?)
Any changes in physical/medication since you've discussed your Checklist? (for instance...period, cold/congestion, twisted ankle, pulled muscle, etc...)
Can you leave your home with your outfit/costume on?
If not, where do you change?
Change of clothing needed? (knife play, rape scene, etc..)
Is your safe call in place?
Toy bag in order?
Who is bringing the toy bag?
Are you using your partners insertable/other toys, or do you prefer your own?
Batteries? Do you have extras?
Location of scene? (private/public/semi-private)
What is the time frame of your scene?
Does it include aftercare time too?
What happens if your in subspace for longer than you/partner think? Do you drive yourself home? Can you stay longer or the night?
Are you required to cleanup right after a scene?
What if you are in subspace and possibly incapable of it?
What cleanup supplies are going to be needed? (towels, disinfectants, etc...)
When do you know when it is time to leave?
Are you required to check in with your partner right after a scene? When? As soon as your home? The next day?
I bet you can come up with a whole bunch of questions, but some of these are obvious, but still need to be answered or discussed to help ensure that everyone is going to have a great time together and create a helluva memory!
