Black Gold otherwise known as oil is as far as I can see the root of all evil in this modern world we live in. What with talk of yet another war were oil might be involved, do we think it is now the time to start drawing away from the stuff.

When will be the time that super powers say to the world wanting war, 'get stuffed, we don't need your oil and are not going to waste our countrymen fighting your wars'

How far in the future do we think it will be when everyone has wised up to evil old oil?

Will it take another world war for that to happen?

pahunkboy, what kind of law? a law declaring that muddy water in rainfall puddles is actually, in fact, gasoline? (Why not? Indiana passed a law that said Pi was actually 4)

Dear Concerned Human,

The better question to ask is when will greed, appathy and indifference become primary topics concerns. Oil is a simple commodity of old mother Earth. It is us as men (gender neutral) and our inability to control our natural impulses that is the root of all evil. It is normally only a major crisis that seems to lift us off our perverbial and not so perverbial arses (<--- british for asses, I think) I hope it doesn't take a World War. We aren't in one yet are we?
