i don't know if this is a general case or not and to some point i can accept and understand the dynamics of attraction. When i was younger i was very much attracted to older Women and my craving to serve mature Females. Now that i am "older" and somewhat like to settle down i find that younger Dommes are easier to talk to and relate to then the "Mature" of which i was hoping to attract.. am i missing a point here?

life balance  not really we identify with things of our past more with things in our future. hence generational experience it is called by association or historic life commoniatlies

There seems to be such a huge obbsession with age on this site, there is another question similar on another board. There isnt really a rule of thumb, people are attracted to who they are attracted to for whatever reasons, and though we may say "must fit into this box" in reality it becomes far less important. I have known Dommes with high age limits and low ones and none at all irrelevent of their own age.

Pete  where your located your going to have to take what you can get. I have several Domme friends there but they are all younger ones. Mmmm what am I saying everyone here is younger than me. Well anyway they are about your age.

We like who we like.  I have always been attracted to "older" men, even when I was young myself.  Now I am trying to rethink a little, and look at some who are younger---because let's face it, once you pass a certain age, an older man needs help in certain areas!  Though wheelchair/walker bondage can be fun, too.

Well put...in some cases I wind up weighing how much the maturity of the mind appeals to me versus the physical appearance/function.

i want someone within 5 yrs of my age...youngins are no good for me..they just want sex sex sex.  i want a relationship...and a 20 something isnt going to give that to me.  i want experience...a 20 something most likely will not have it.  while yes they might have bdsm experience but they wont have the experience of owning a 24-7 sub or slave.

if they do...then i'd be amazed and it would likely be a short time experience.  i need someone with many years of experience.  someone more my age in their mid to late 30s will have this.  once you experience 24-7 you learn a HELL of alot about yourself and the lifestyle. 

i would go up to as high as 45.  but i would not go lower than 32.  priorities are different for older than younger.  younger has alot of time to fool around and not want to settle down.  where as us older folks want something more serious.

Thanks guys for Y/your input and Dnomyar W/we are never too old... i just get the feeling that the younger generation is coming up more aggressive and open with what they want from there life and generally for there sexual needs they don't hold back at all or show signs of conservatism. i tend to feel that our generation when i was in my 20's it tend to be more carful with there general conduct. The same i experienced with the opposite group sex as some are coming out now and admit of being suppressed in there youth. i suppose its the sign of the times as with everything we see in general. Growing up in the 60's and 70's was more based with the feeling of conservatism and behaving and keeping a level of self respect was cultivated in us and basic conduct and rules applied almost everywhere.

Great question pete.  I remember as a kid lusting after imagineing me with the mom types... brought back some fond memories.  Had fun times with a few.  Now I'm with someone 8 years younger than me.  If there is a next one she will be younger still.

age is almost a taboo......
it's not a problem for me, it's who i am....usually the elder slave and the alpha and proud to be...
i most certainly would never want to turn back the clock. i was far far too insecure then. Omg insecure enough now as it is. Life teaches so very very much but that's not it.
Master and i have similar world views on politics, spirituality, polyamority, food, music and of course sexual freedom.
i do admit i adore that more than the fact that i see Him as a younger person. W/we played a while ago and there was at least a thirty year age difference in Master and the other Dom and it was not the most important contribution to the dynamic.

After a while 'differences' such as age, race, disability and even gender, become less inportant differences than the tension of the dynamic.

In my experience to really see someone, to really feel them, to really touch them during the intimacies of bdsm, transforms that person into something that transcends age, or race, or gender.....

Actually come to think of it each Dom has been younger until Master who id probably the youngest of my bdsm relationships. I had a conversation today by text so it was short and intense communication. i said i felt i would need to find Him someone to replace me as i would pass first and He text back to say it would take more than a few women to replace me....it was so very flattering and sweet and intimate coming from an emotional sadist.......

Ive always prefered younger men. Vanilla and lifestyle, that hasnt changed. I have dated and played with those near my age, but I never have had an interest in anyone older. Just my tastes.

The other aspect i would assume that the younger Dominants are looking for is financial support i would guess. Reading on some profiles one tends to get the feeling that they are looking for men with secure financial careers to take a ride on. Having to deal with such Dommes one also tends to have a good query about who they wish to have the relationship with?? The wallet or the being that holds it??

i am a equal opertunity discriminator.  Sorry peeps age is a thing for me. Do not want have to re rasie someone twenties are finding them selves  30s are rasing familes and 40s well we just are stuck in our ways :) and 50s are partying with class and 60s and search of new adventures yep
