freyjasdottir -> What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/6/2008 8:22:13 AM)

My Lord is a writer and the other night he asked me "what is the number one complaint by bottoms about tops?" I told him most likely communication but that I would ask the board to get more input. Just general ideas as he is looking to write more erotica and possibly a handbook down the road and wants other's views.  Thank you so much.

Number one complaint about REAL tops or those who pose as 'experienced dominants' just to get a wank? [:'(]

freyjasdottir -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/6/2008 8:46:57 AM)

Real ones, his opinion on wankers isn't much different than my own.

colouredin -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/6/2008 8:48:56 AM)

Lol i dont complain much about Sir, i guess time? I want more of everything/anything he can give me but thats not really a complaint i guess.

Sometimes its hard to ask for things for fear that you are telling him what to do, but thats really my own issue not his

I dont think ive helped much here

DesFIP -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/6/2008 9:24:14 AM)

Oh, that he can't mind read! [:D]

Seriously, I'm like colouredin, it's difficult to ask for what I need directly. So I guess him focusing on me a little more because when he does, he's pretty good at figuring it out.

Beyond that, if he would only remember he's a full head taller than me and I just can't keep up with him, especially when he knows where he's going and I don't. We get this a lot in Home Depot or other big stores, he's taking big strides toward some aisle and I can't walk that fast, plus I get distracted by stuff on the end caps.

Not flogging me hard enough ;)

(sorry.. I couldn't resist....)

That height thing is funny, he's nearly a foot taller than me so I soooooooooooooo understand.

And everyone is helping, I guess I know more than I thought I did.

For me it is the frustration of just missing sub-space. Master wants to get me there, I want to get me there, I have been there in the past, BUT..it takes a long time for me to get there and his arm flags out before I do, usually. If he changes instruments too fast on me I lose ground as well. Sigh...

I don't think one of my complaints is really a complaint either, just something we're working on.
I'm one of those who grew up being a prude and I still have some of that in me. Sometimes when I say "no," act too scared to do something, or can't say that I want to, I need him to do it any way or make me do it anyway. Sometimes he's just too nice!

colouredin -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/6/2008 3:23:56 PM)

hmm saying no? or safewording? sorry side tracked

lol seems like we all like our S/M/D types, shocker that :P

Kleenex tissues, but puffs are nice too.

chamberqueen -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/6/2008 6:25:23 PM)

If I could ask for one thing in our relationship, it would be more praise in person.  It seems very easy for Him to give praise in emails or during chat but much harder in person.  If I've really expended myself for Him I would like a little more than a smile and a "not bad".

I can't believe someone actually said that..[sm=applause.gif]

<whispering...I might have thought that a time or two myself.>

Strangely enough, it seems that if i demonstrate a real-life need or weakness, it tends to end the relationship pretty quickly.

StormsSlave -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/6/2008 7:08:53 PM)

His anger when it is directed at me.  It's in My Lord's nature to be quick to anger,  and usually it's not directed at me.  Only when he is angry with ME, does it upset me; usually because I am angry back at him.  lol.

We don't argue often.  We get over it quickly.  We love each other enough to put it behind us and to accept that sometimes, people just get pissed.

For the most part, we are symbiotic enough that I object to very little.  I'm very tolerant toward the behaviors of others, and he's very tolerant of me.  It works for us.

edited for clarity

Issues? Fuck, if i tried to list them all i'd crash the server.

In the realm of "normal", how 'bout "i can take a lot more pain than my Top thinks i can"? Kinda like GreedyTop's response, but less specific and flip.

defiantbadgirl -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/7/2008 1:57:38 AM)

I have several complaints about some tops (although I know all aren't this way).

1. Lying about their intentions.

2. Lying about their marital/relationship status.

3. Expecting subs who are looking for monogamy to settle for less.

4. Expecting any and all subs, even the ones they don't own to obey them.

5. Wankers.

6. Disrespect of a sub's hard limits.

7. Calling a sub they just made out or had sex with a "buddy."

chezzy52 -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/7/2008 2:00:39 AM)

I have issues with collarme when a Domme is allowed to call us guys cunts but won't allow a simple pic of a fri..end with her hand over my mouth and the only thing showing that belongs to her in said pic is her hand!!!...and of course my face.

onthenosetone -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/7/2008 5:12:56 AM)

Uber Domme's.....by that I mean those that strut about the place and expect because they've declared themselves to be Mistresses that everyone should bow and scrape to them......their way is the one true way....Pppffftttttt!!!!!!!
