I play guitar and although we are talking about totally different kinds of amperage here...i respect electricity too much to even think about electro-shock play...it's a hard limit for me.

Yeah, you definitely don't want to get a jolt from a big amp cabinet putting out a few hundred watts! i'm a clumsy do-it-yourselfer, so i've been zapped by line voltage, (110 VAC) car batteries, and automotive coils, but there's some stuff that even i'll leave to the professionals...

ok so im training to be an electrical engineer, dealing with 400000V everyday, a lil more than electric play. But all it takes is 1amp to kill someone. that really isnt alot. If the path travels across your heart it has the same effect as the heart starting ambulance men stuff, and will stop your heart....not a good plan.......ive had jolts from small doses and it bloody well hurts. electricity is dangerous in the wrong hands......please do not do it without knowing the risks, emergency procedures and safe limitations!!

And I respect music too much to attempt playing the guitar.  Stick with what you're good at.  [;)]

It also leaves those unsightly callouses on your fingertips MSSaskia...they wouldn't feel too good against bare skin..although after some time they do smooth over. And to littlelass..yes just one amp can kill.
