Thank You very much for your post it really did provide a lot of food for thought. I still personally have no interest in doing any 'online training' but I do think it is important for me to at the bare minimum to learn about and have some type of understanding as to the 'what's', 'why's' and 'how's' because I have already encountered situations in real life where the slave's beginnings were on the internet and how I approach and address these situations must be one from some type of knowledge and understanding as to their specific background or frankly it is going to much harder for me and the slave or submissive.

MzBerlin,

Here is hoping that you truly do 'get me'.

I also want to add that it is important that everyone who reads my perspectives and questions understand that they are not coming from a stance of 'anything that isn't done and felt in person' is 'invalid' because I do not think that for a second, it is simply my way of doing things when it comes to intimate relationships, nothing more, nothing less.

Honestly, with me, it is a mystery to know whether or not the mistress will actually tell me not to orgasm, or to do every little thing she tells me to do. The mystery, the hype about what could happen is a great turn-on. I had a good experience once with a mistress that told me to meet her at 5:30 in the morning online. I was there the exact minute she scheduled us for. She told me to do this and that, and I really loved it. Things did not work out, unfortunately. I just do not care to go into details about it. But anyway, I will not forget that one experience and lesson. Neither will I forget any of the other online BDSM experiences.

It has been tough finding anyone on here that is into online domination. Most EVERYONE is looking for real time. But, not everyone else can indulge in that privilege. I use myself as an example. I have a job, and I am starting into college again this coming semester. Therefore, I would not be able to travel right now to a mistress that matched my interests, personality, etc.

If any masters or mistresses would feel it in their hearts to at least consider online domination, would you? Could you? Thank you.

Go into any chatroom anywhere. You'll find many into "only" online Domination. Doesn't matter what service you use. The board's I'm thinking you'd find a different breed here.

As an online sub of Lady Beckett I think I can answer many of your questions.

First, I would love to go there for a long weekend. Unfortunately my finances are shit, my health is only slightly better than my finances, and I'm pursuing someone more local (whose OK with this, but I freak a little).

On-line for me is the best available option because it is the only available option.

From my perseptive I must disagree on whether love is an emotion. Maybe I'm seeing "emotions" as those annoying little non-rational things and you clearly see there are twelve types of those annoying non-rational things I call emotions.

Although it starts with reason ("I love her because...") it quickly becomes non-rational. A person would die to protect one they love be it a spouse or child or sibling, whatever. That is not rational behavior.

"Love" exists, but is not a subset of reason. I know of no other major motivator other than "emotion".

I could be wrong. (I mean, I am a typical American guy talking about emotions.

)

This thread has given me a different outlook of online D/s. i really never have thought of it as being the only avenue for some and the fulfillment that some are able to achieve through it. Thank Y/you for opening my eyes.
