I, too, get a lot of email from dominant men saying they'd like to sub. I think it has a lot to do with not being comfortable admitting publicly to their switchy or submissive sides. So, in effect, they're hiding behind a façade. Just my 20 cents (inflation, you know).

many men dont read profiles...they send out form letters to all sub's or all dominants. i got one earlier today...i just block them.

I believe that those men seek to do one of two things in the lifestyle ( using the trem loosely here)--they seek to "procure" a mate by being Dominant or "secure" by being submissive--and if their profile indicates dominant---they think we would be flattered to "tame" said Dom--

I was just wondering the same thing. Is it getting close to spring or what?

They seem to be worse this year then in the past. I have had over 14 in the last 2 weekends who all claim they need to explore their "submissive sides". I’m sorry, however, this just screams "do me" all over it.

I have even asked this same question to a female dominant group I belong to, they all say the same thing, it is worse this year for some unknown reason.
I have told them that here in the Chicago area, there are many very wonderful prodommes who could come up with a plan to helping them find themselves. These do me dominant wannabe’s are too darn cheap for that. They claim "they need a relationship" not a prodomme <shakes head>.

Thank goodness there is a "send to bulk" option on collarme.

If I meet someone at a munch or a slosh and we get to know each other well, I may take them up on an offer to top them at sometime. It definitely is not going to happen with a lame one liner or a form letter sent in an email.

What man in their right mind wouldn't want a beautiful woman to dominate them??And that is the crux of the biscuit.They chase style instead of substance.When i speak with a Domina..i am looking for a rather comfortable conversation that can cover most areas without always talking about BDSM.I am particulary fond of any Domina that picks up on my guitar playing.I have a best friend that is both beautiful and very intelligent,she also happens to be a Domina.I am by no means a dominate man but if i was,i can see where i would want to submit to her.Now i am not condoning lying and claiming you are something you are not.But i can see why this is happening.Personally i feel all women are beautiful outside..it is the heart that beats inside that i hope to find sheer beauty in.Now i hate to top the beautiful Venatrix but that is my fifty cents worth cause i am dying for a Drake's Coffee Cake.....smiles
